    Lost Military Salute vouchers

If you get the specific “salute” tickets from the base travel office, they give you a voucher. The voucher is like a flimsy raffle ticket kind of paper about the size of a credit card. When you arrive at WDW, you can not go straight to the turnstile. You have to turn your voucher into a ticket...

Did you know after you use one you can go in and try to change the second for an earlier time?

Non rope drop ppl - what’s it like??

And the wait isn’t “only” 15 minutes, when you have to wait in line 45 minutes for the privilege of being in the first wave of riders.

Disney Genie coming to Walt Disney World planning

I’d love it. I think a great feature is “Hey we see you were planning buzz at 4, but if you wait til 7 here’s an extra fast pass.” They could do a lot with this to even out lines.

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

I just want to be clear, it’s never that the chef has refused, it’s more that the waiters seem to see themselves as a roadblock. I don’t have a deadly allergy, but I have a family member who does. I worry for people who have deadly, but not top 8 allergies.

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

See the next post. I was served an “allergy” platter at ‘Ohana that contained my allergen. Yes we sent it back and we had already spoken with the chef!

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

Of course my health is more important, but asking what foods contain mushrooms and don’t is so simple. I don’t even think there are table service restaurants that I can’t eat at if the requirement is they don’t serve my food allergy. The whole reason restaurants have lots of options is because...

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

“Sorry darling, you can’t go to Cinderella’s castle for dinner because mom doesn’t know if the sauces have mushrooms in them and it would be ridiculous to eat at a restaurant that could easily accommodate making a quick pan sauce.”

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

I really think the problem is they’ve tried to streamline everything, so they throw an allergy plate at you and call it good. That’s scary if there is someone who doesn’t realize that they haven’t actually cross checked your allergy against the ingredients. This is how ridiculous it is. At...

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

In practice, the allergy menu is given out regardless of actual allergy. I ask for a regular menu every time I’m seated, but because there is a red allergy stamp on the ticket, I get the allergy menu. It is in fact ridiculous, because my allergen is all over the menu. I know to speak to a chef...

Non rope drop ppl - what’s it like??

We have night owl youngins. Fantasyland has shorter lines in the later hours than rope drop, because so many of the young kids are early risers. I don’t know about wait times for the bigger rides, but you don’t seem as interested in those. You want to check the times on the characters. I’ve...

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

It seems the issue is being asked to not leave and get medical treatment.

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

You can request a special deep cleaning of Disney resort hotel rooms where they deep clean everything and the walls. I can’t remember what it’s called or what it includes.

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

You don’t need to justify how you handled things to people without food allergies!

    Disney becoming lax with allergies?

What worries me about the one size fits all allergy cards is that I have a not top 8 allergy. They could be feeding people their allergens because they aren’t paying attention. I feel like the allergy menus has made them lazy as compared to before. They tried to make it so the waiters could...

    "Official" 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - A Frightfully Festive Celebration

Character lines are different than parades too. Character breaks are timed and flowed partially by how large the parties in line are. People are given estimates about the time based on length of the line. If everyone is not in line with their family, character attendants can not optimally time...

    "Official" 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - A Frightfully Festive Celebration

If you are comfortable sharing, I think this would be a helpful thread for people on the dining board. I’ve been hearing some troubling stuff lately.
