Walking from LBV golf course to Disney Springs

Can we walk (during COVID) from LBV golf course to Disney Springs? We used to be able to enter near House of Blues - is that entrance open? Or would we need to walk all the way over to the Orange garage?

Help me get large family from MCO to Shades of Green

I need to transport 16 family members, including 5 children in car seats, from MCO to Shades of Green and back. What are the best options to do this? Would prefer not to have to bring our own car seats...

    Musicians at Trattoria al Forno

We will have our extended family in WDW soon, including our parents who will be celebrating their 60th anniversary this year - they also introduced all of us to WDW in 1976...this is both our 40th year visiting and their final trip to WDW. We'd like to do something special. A specialty cake is...

    Carribean beach vs Polynesian

Well, of course you decide how much you spend. That doesn't change the fact that the Polynesian is one of the best deluxe resorts and that CBR is a nice moderate. There is no comparison. Yes, the rooms all have beds - but that's about it. Poly has several full service restaurants, monorail...

    POR OR POFQ

French Quarter is the best of the moderates. It's quiet and compact, yet with the ability to use all the amenities afforded to POR. It's single bus stop is much preferred to the POR's 4 stops and during high season, the French Quarter will not stop at POR to pick up passengers. The only...

    Poly or AOA?

These two resorts are really not comparable. It's like comparing the Super Bowl to a Raiders/Browns game.

    Carribean beach vs Polynesian

These two resorts are not really comparable. It's like comparing a well-prepared filet mignon to a McDonald's cheeseburger.

Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

Whoa - what?!?? The Hoop-Dee-Doo? That's a classic. The food is good enough (fried chicken is very good) with sangria and beer included. If you go with a large group it's worth every penny.

Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

It certainly appears that most people are selecting Cosmic Ray's a the most-popular-least-popular place. Honestly, this has caught me by surprise. Cosmic Ray's was always one of our staples - enough variety for a large group, decent counter service, air conditioned with a little show to boot...

Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

Le Cellier hasn't hit my "won't eat at" list, but we rarely do eat there any more for exactly the reasons you stated above. If we're gonna pay that much for a meal, we'll go to Citricos or Flying Fish.

I like the idea of the audience participation attractions - hadn't considered that. Thanks!

Excellent idea. Actually, we already purchased matching shirts - makes for great photos!

    Attraction takeover!

I think some have mis-read my original post. We are not touring together all day. We are only meeting for a select few events and dinner. It was those select few events that I was looking for ideas....we are definitely not touring as a group of 30.

    Attraction takeover!

We have an upcoming trip with extended family - almost 30 in all covering 4 generations. During the trip we plan to "take over" the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - that is, we'll enter with a party of 20 and fill up an entire train. With such a large party we aren't going to tour as one large...

Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

I have a hard time not liking anything at the Poly - it's my favorite place in all of WDW. Captain Cook's however, is unspectacular.

Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

Some of the signature restaurants are top notch. Citricos, for once, is always always exceptional. While expensive, when combined with a Tables in Wonderland discounts, it's not unbearable. Agree that CS in WS are some good options/
