Florida is geographically "south" but not very southern. Since there are so many tourists and northern transplants in Florida, few restaurants will offer sweet tea - those unaccustomed to it often don't like it. It's too sweet for the average tastebuds. :upsidedow

A lightweight sweater/sweatshirt is always a good idea to have. The restaurants are often FREEZING especially compared to the extreme heat outside. If you are sweaty or wet from rides or get sunburned etc. the cold restaurants can be way too much of a good thing and a little covering is nice...

Another option is to wear "manties" (men's microfiber fitted boxers)under your skirt/dress. They are cool, comfortable and much lighter weight than bike shorts. And they usually don't have too much bulgy fabric in the front.:thumbsup2
