9 year old chronic pain in Disneyland.

Yes, while I have a different diagnosis than the OP's daughter, her concerns seem similar to mine. I was worried about not being given the DAS and being told to get a wheelchair after doing a lot of research on it, which wouldn't have been what I needed, since I need to be able to stretch out my...

9 year old chronic pain in Disneyland.

I'm so sorry your daughter has to deal with this at such a young age. I'm 30 and live with chronic pain. A few years ago when we were on a long trip to WDW was the first time I tried the DAS pass, and I'm really glad I had it as an option when I couldn't stand in the long lines, because standing...

I'd like to know this too. I have celiac and will be staying at Yacht Club CL during Christmas week.

    New to Gluten Free...help!

It's also good to let Disney Dining know ahead of time, too. Since you made the ADRs before you found out about this, I'm sure you didn't mark anything for the special diets, but you can always call them and they can add it. That way when you check in, they know, too. For buffets, a chef will...

Candlelight Processional Dining package 2017 Watch -partial Narrator list updated Aug 25th

We are staying club level during Christmas week and while nothing still comes up for GG breakfast for me online for CP, a family member called the concierge and apparently the CM was able to make the reservation. We got GG at 9am for 4 people on Christmas morning. So hopefully it'll be opening...

    New to Gluten Free...help!

Disney is the most amazing place for gluten free! I have had celiac for around 8 years now, and have taken many trips to both WDW and DL since. No one does it as well as they do. Do you have any questions about any specific ADRs?

    Disbounding/Outfit Planning/Totally Disney'nerding OUT!

Love disneybounding! It's so much fun to look at the clothes you have in your closet and figure out how to make it work! I like that it's subtle enough but others who know disneybounding can still recognize it :)

    Keys to Kingdom Tour

I think every tour is a little bit different. When we did it 2 years ago, we went on 2 rides, HM and JC. Between those and lunch at CHH, there were a few opportunities for sitting. There was a lot of time spent backstage, not just the utilidoors, but also the backside of the rides and buildings...

Selfies at character meet and greets

If it's fun for the person taking it and fun for the characters, then it sounds like a great idea for anyone who's up to it! I imagine the characters would be a little more silly than the traditional posed pictures, so it would make for some unique photos and memories!

    Down Syndrome

You never know til the baby is born what complications he may have, but it is good still to be prepared and have some idea. You also never know when the baby is born what he'll be capable of as he grows up. I'm an early childhood special ed teacher, and I have 4 wonderful students with Downs...

FastPass+ Basic Info, Suggested Priorities, And Strategies--Part II

Our hotel reservations are split into two at the same hotel in order to take advantage of the discount. Since it's two reservations, will we have to do 2 separate FP+ booking times, or because we have the 7 day park hoppers, we can still do it all at once?

Which AKL dinner is best for GF dining?

I've heard Sanaa is great for GF, but I've never dined there myself. I have been to Boma and loved it, plenty of delicious options and the chef brought me a special dessert plate with GF zebra domes and other wonderful dome desserts!

Was Star Tours refurbished and if so will the new version make me motion sick?

I find that I get motion sickness less on the newer version than I did on the old version. I can ride it multiple times in a row now where that would have been a problem before.

Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

We have an 8:30 pm dinner at Boma and will need to get back to Boardwalk after. Will we have to take a bus to DHS or Epcot and get back from there or is there another way?

What do you wish you knew the first time you reserved FP+?

Are you able to have two people each logged in at the same time to their own MDE accounts as part of the same package working on scheduling FP+s? If it will let us I figured we could each take different days to do to get through the process more quickly.

Alternatives to BBB for young adults

OP, I just wanted to chime in and say I hope you find some way to still make a magical princess experience for your daughter. I can imagine the disappointment, especially since she was able to do BBB on past visits. If they want it to be for only young children, they should have set the age...
