Take less clothes. I always go in the summer. But if you can take one pair of dress shoes to go with everything that will help. ex: take 4 pairs of slacks and then several shirts that can go with the slacks/jeans/shorts. I got several of those dresses that are reversable and that help...

I had to use the insurance 2 yrs ago, when my wrist got broken on Castaway Cay. I had to pay everything first, then copy all my receipts and sent it to them. They paid me back almost $3200 worth of bills. So yes the $99 was well worth it and we got the DCL insurance. I hope this helps.

Welcome to the Dis. No you do not have to get off the ship at any of the ports. You can do as little or as much as you want to do on the ship. I have had plenty of private time. You will need dresses for the trip for the dinners. Men can get a way with docker slacks/polo...
