    Photographing Pets

Love to post pictures of the dogs. Here's Bravo he's my 8 month old Dalmatian. He's an absolute joy and making me very proud in the show ring as well. This is EZ my daughter's Dalmatian for Junior Showmanship.

These were taken with my Nikon D70. This one was taken while I was working on catching action. This one was from the stands at a show... lighting not so good but I'm working on it.

    Have to share great photo.

He has several hidden mickeys... including one right on the top of his head. You know you are a Disney fan when you look for hidden mickeys on your dog. :rotfl:

    Have to share great photo.

On Sunday DH took this photo of our Dalmatian Mark. He's relatively new at using the D70. I'm happy to see that he's "making nice" with the camera so quickly. I may need to put him in charge of some Disney photos next trip as he's been taking several really good photos lately.

    Hidden Mickey?

We have a Dalmatian and find hidden mickeys on him all the time. He has two very obvious ones (well to us) one on his right shoulder and one on the top of his head. It was fate. He was meant to be ours. Look below at his shoulder area right above his front leg.

"Will You Take Our Picture?" in WDW

I find the same thing. Because I have a bigger DSLR (Nikon D70 w sb800)people often ask me to photograph them. I know nothing about their cameras and hope that the auto setting they use comes out decent. They usually hand it to me and say "just press the silver button." and I'm hoping that...

How do you carry your stuff?

We use a tamrac expedition 4 for trips. Inside I will have my D70 with one lens on and then usually my SB800, 50mm and my 24-120 mm VR. I can also fit the video camera in the bag as well. It can get heavy at the end of the day *if* the camera is in it but I usually have the D70 around my neck...

    Shooting Fantasmic!

Fantasmic is a non-flash environment so the biggest problem is that you need to be able to do longer exposures to allow more light into the camera. However, with the action during fantasmic this makes it hard so the trick is your ISO settings and capabilities of your camera. I'm not sure of...
