We stayed at the AKL just a couple of weeks ago and were upgraded from standard to savannah. Didn't have to ask for it, no idea why they offered it, the resort seemed pretty full to me. Plenty of people were in the standard rooms too (we saw them going in to their rooms, lights on at night etc)...

I hated Kali. I thought the ride was severely lame (similar to POTC in severity, ie not a thrill ride at all), and they had stuff that was designed to just get you wet without any other point to it at all. I got SOAKED, like others said, jump-in-the-pool soaked. Doubt I'll ever do it again. W

Just use the CDEM code at Dollar for the compact weekly rate of $119. I've got one reserved for August. The coupon you get when joining FastPass isn't a double upgrade, you get two single-class upgrade coupons but can only use one at a time. Still not bad for free! W
