Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

I wonder if it also closes for a random half hour between 11:00-11:30? We walked so FAR and the place was closed... it was pretty annoying! But the resort was definitely pretty.

Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

Day 2, Part 1 When last I left you, M. and I were exhausted and stuffed and heading home from Epcot. I took exactly two photos of our room before crashing into bed. I have read that Saratoga Springs is due for a refurb, and I kind of agree with this. We have stayed at a handful of Disney...

Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

I agree with you-- except for stay at a non skyliner resort (Saratoga) the bus service was so abysmal (esp for rope drop) we had to uber anyway. I feel like bus service is  kind of across board these days? It's totally worth a "long" skyliner if you have any downtime at all. At least...

Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

Day 1, Part 2 When last we left you, Marjorie and I were subsiding on nothing but a (shared) Mickey pretzel. On an ordinary day, that would lead to extreme grumpiness and weakness... but on a Disney Day, we were powering through giddily. I guess this was partly because we were eagerly...

Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

YES! Nothing compares to that first-day-feeling. I wish I could bottle it for a gloomy Sunday afternoon like this one! They are stunning. And they tie in so beautifully to the skyliner I feel you on the trip abandoning. I am really trying to change my wicked ways!! If only because I love...

    Skipping fireworks/night shows

I LOVE the nightime shows (even RoL, though admittedly the others are all better) but I have started to learn that hitting rope drop in the AM and making it to these nighttime shows -- esp in summer, because it gets dark so late, is really tough to do.

Starting the Year Off Right-- A 2020 Trip Report

Well, I'm back! And after four picture perfect days at Disney, one one horrendous day of travel (and I mean day, as in 24 hours) I'm reading to start combating my serious case of PDD with some trip report writing. Day 1, Part 1: Joyriding a Whole Lot of Disney Transit Marjorie and I jumped...

The Shortest, Gayest Trip Report Ever: A May 2019 Disney Trip

Day 2-- Good News, Bad News I shot out of bed on Saturday morning. I was beaming with happiness, because... Well, I was at Disney, that part was obvious. Less exciting (but mitigated by the first news) was the fact that I was now a *shudder* 30 year old. Anyway, I hopped out of bed (at 6 am)...

24 hours in the car just to see fake palm trees?! Our magical Thanksgiving vacation

I just binge read your entire trip report. What an AMAZING family vacation... until it wasn't, ugh! I'm a preschool teacher, so I totally get the bodily fluids, and I can't imaging how upsetting that must have felt on a (super expensive!) Disney trip. Following along to find out about the weather!!!
