    Day 17 of ROFR

Thanks! But man I just want to know at this point. The good news is, I can now start looking for other options since my deadline is almost up! That way, IF Disney does decide to steal it away, I have a quick turnaround for my second chance.

Not drinking the cool aid on resale!!

^This in so many ways. We just placed a bid on OKW. After number crunching, we figured 50-60 a point was much more reasonable than 165 a point. Should we have purchased OKW back in 1991 when it first when on sale? Yeah... if they would've sold to a 13 year old kid with a paper route! Now that...

Not drinking the cool aid on resale!!

I agree that BCV at 95pp is high for a contract ending in 2042. However, it's the market. If people want to pay that much for a contract, then they have every right to charge that amount. But if you compare an OKW at 60 pp ending at 2042 compared to VGF at 150, it's not even a contest...

Thank you! I really appreciate the help! That was a big piece of information. But that might have solved our problem of where to buy in at.

    Considering purchase - couple questions

I have another quick question on this. I read that if you are vacationing in November, and your UY is in August. You could still book before August because they would be in your account before you leave. Is this information correct? But in regards to the 11month window. You have to have...

    Considering purchase - couple questions

I understand the small contract idea and it does make sense. But 2 things I worry about that is, aren't you getting nickel and dimed by the closing costs because of this? Also, do you have to take into account your UY when you purchase another contract? We are considering buying in and...

    Bad Trip

About the pictures.... Was there more than one person with a My Disney Experience Login associated with your Memory Maker? We were just at The World a couple weeks ago and had the same problem. I noticed only about half of the pictures were showing up in my login. My DD went to the Tea...

    Ocotober BCV waitlist came through

Yeah smaller contracts seem to be easier to sell in the end. That makes sense!

    Ocotober BCV waitlist came through

I take it, the 80 point contract was a small contract purchased to give you the extra 4 month window to book? The only drawback being closing costs?

    Ocotober BCV waitlist came through

This makes sense to me. Having been to food and wine before, I can see the appeal!

    Ocotober BCV waitlist came through

Why were you surprised? I am considering the DVC and have read up a lot. Twice now I have seen posts about surprised a spot was available during the month of October.... Looking at the points chart this is a slow season, does DVC bookings follow a different vacation pattern than the normal...
