    Jedi Training Sign Up Questions

Last time my family was in DH, we did what you were talking about. My son was the #22 stand by. We had to go back and forth all day to see if he made the cut. After a couple of failed tries, I talked to the cast member in charge. He told me to come back at dinner time. That I when most...

    Resorts for Dummies

There is a lot of room in the 2 bedroom villa. You may be able to save money by not using the studio. You should be able to sleep 6 with no problem. I am pretty certain that all of the villas have a fridge. Most have a washer and dryer in the room. You may want to look into the Beach...

    New York Style Pizza

I hate to tell you this but the pizza off site is just as bad as in Disney. Florida is not known for its selection of good pizza places. You may want to consider eating something different.

    Critique my plans!

I would agree with doing breakfast at Kona. Note: If you are renting a car and you use the valet at whatever resort you are staying in. You can valet your car at another resort for free. If you are not staying at a resort on the monorail, you can valet your car at the Poly, GF, or...

    Coral Reef....What do you think??

I ate here with my family 2 years ago and found it to be a pleasant experience. We asked for a table near by the aquarium and my 4 year old thought that it was great. I had a reservation and waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. We found the food to be enjoyable and the service was good...

Disney Magic Came Early - Help To Decide What to Do w/ $3k Voucher

You are already staying at the club level in a nice resort. I would use the voucher to offset my costs.

    bypass check in

I love the concept. On my next trip, I am flying into Orlando after work. I will not be getting to the resort with my family until 10pm. My son normally goes to sleep at 8:00 and we have big day planned for Thursday. Last time we stayed in Disney, I did the same thing. The check out took...

Do you take the Disney busses or drive your car?

I have a 6 year old and he loves to get every minute out of the parks. He has fallen asleep every time we leave the park. It is easier to bring a sleeping child to a car than wait for a bus. If you pay to have your car put in the valet at your resort, you can valet your car at other...

Chef Mickey's Breakfast and Jedi Training

The spots for the jedi training go fast. Try to get there as early as possible. Last time I was there, I tried to sign my son up at 9:30 and he was wait listed. If you get wait listed, go back at dinner time. People sometimes leave the park early or get stuck at dinner.

Cape May dinner or Coral reef?

My family really enjoyed the Coral Reef. Ask for a table near the aquarium.

    Best Princess meal?

I know that it is 2TS, but nothing beats Cinderella's Royal table. The whole experience was amazing for my child and nothing else compares.

Just wanna go with the flo!

I know it seems like you lose all the spontaneity of vacationing by planning all your TS meals. I have gone to WDW both ways (planned and unplanned meals). It is a much more enjoyable experience when planning the meals. It gets to be really stressful when you can't eat where you want without...

    Best character dining

Best character dining experience (food and character interaction)... Cinderella's Royal Table... nothing else was even close.

What should we do differently this time?

My family enjoyed Coral Reef. Ask for a table next to the aquarium. My son is really into Disney Jr. He enjoyed Hollywood & Vine a lot.

Mickey's Very Merry & Not So Scary

Not all of the rides are open. The lines for the rides that are open were not too long. Most people are there for the parades, fireworks, and character interactions. The longest lines were for some of the candy stations.

If you only picked two character meals, what would they be

Cinderella's Royal Table (You can't beat meeting all of the princesses at one time) and Hollywood & Vine (kids love the Disney Jr. characters)

Two TS meals in one day too much?

2 TS are ok, but you need to space them out. If one is a buffet, give yourself a lot of room between meals.

Where would you take a "first timer?"

I know that it sounds cheesy, but Cinderella's Royal Table is a cool experience. Be our Guest... ask for the room with the snow flakes. Coral Reef... ask for a table by the aquarium Any place in the Mexican Pavilion in Epcot Victoria and Alberts California Grill
