Tell us your funniest Ride stop / breakdown

My husband and I had just gotten on Spaceship Earth and the ride stops. He decided on a little nap while waiting for it to start. We just happened to stop a second before the picture gets snapped. The ride starts and they snap our picture with him still sleeping. We still laugh about his...

How can I use my Disney Visa Rewards...

Just take your rewards card down to customer service and they will apply the amount to your onboard credits. Works great and what a money saver.

We just received ours on Thursday also for our trip on October 14th. Our friends on the same cruise received theirs on Friday. Just to let you know, ours didn't come in the mail, they came UPS.

Does everyone take their own snorkel gear?

We also use our own. So much so, that my mask just broke this summer and I just went out yesterday to our local K-mart to purchase another one. Most of the sets were on clearance. I even saw an entire set with fins, mask, and snorkel for 12.50. Good luck.

Age you left your children alone in the cabin at night?

At night, we would leave our 11 year old (very mature and responsible for his age) in the room with a set of rules and a walkie talkie while we hit some of the clubs. This worked out well for us. In addition, one of us would run down every half hour or so to check on him (usually sleeping with...

How far ahead of time are the guaranteed cabins assigned?

We had our cabin number booked about a year in advance. All of the paperwork they sent out to us had the same number. When we arrived at the port to check in, they gave us a new cabin number. That was perfectly OK though since it was a 3 category upgrade. :cool1:

    Confused

What a sad day. I pulled up the trip report thread to catch up on my favorite trip reports since I had been gone for the weekend. I always look for happyhaunts first. I didn't see it at the top so I started reading a few others. When I still didn't see it, I started to get a sick feeling in...

    Share your funniest pre-cruise dream/nightmare...

Our cruise is still 5 months away and I've had numerous dreams (nightmares) about forgetting to make Palo reservations, forgetting to switch my Disney Visa credits over to the card, forgetting ID, etc. They usually wake me up in the middle of the night, after which I can breathe a sigh of...

    Disney Withdrawls!!!

I know exactly how you feel. After a two week trip I came home and had extreme withdrawal. I decorated my bathroom with everything Mickey. Now at least in the mornings I can get up and feel a little of the magic. The scrapbook idea was also a great one. When you're feeling low, you can pull...

    10-14-2006 Cruisetoberfest IV

It's actually been quite awhile since I've posted. My first excuse was tax season. (Those 80 hour weeks are killers). Then it was summer and now the kids are finally back in school. I'm very excited. There is a group of about 20 of us going (and yes, I have been telling them to check out...

Disney rewards we got $1 for every $50 purch. not $100!!

My sister in law also receives the 2%. She has no idea how or why she receives it, and I was a little upset about it since I'm the one that got her to sign up for it. I only receive the 1%. I actually forgot about it until I saw this post, and now I'm mad again. Just think of all the extra...

    A Very British Trip Report - California 2005 - Day 3

:Pinkbounc We just did the same trip too, about 2 months ago. I agree with Tam, Moro's Rock is a scary climb. What makes it worse is that my 7 year old daughter, made it to the top and really rubbed it in my face (and her older 12 year old brothers face). I enjoy all of your reports and can't...

Children, Parents and In-Laws, OH MY! Trip Report/Days 9 and 10 - Final Installment!

Loved your trip report. Now it sounds like our next trip will have to include a stop at Victoria and Albert's. I know how frustrating it can be to travel with an extended family, but it sounds like you dealt with it very well. Kudos to you. :sunny:

A Very British Trip Report - Dec 2004 Day 9

What a wonderful Christmas present. Another Kevin Stringer trip report. I've been a big fan for years, (well at least since your last two reports) and I know I'm in for lots of laughs when I see your posts. Thanks for the wonderful report so far and I can't wait to read the rest.

Hekp! Best excursions on the Eastern on your own

On our cruise in 2003, we did all of the excursions on our own. In St. Maarten, we rented a car at port (about $55) drove to Dawn Beach for a short visit which extended into a longer visit due to a flip flop incident, visited the butterfly farm, drove to Orient Beach for the afternoon, stopped...

Laurarn - Good luck on your scrapbooking, once you start it gets very addicting (it can also get very expensive). The way I look at it though is that I am preserving wonderful memories. Looking back at our Cruise album always makes me smile and gets me even more excited for our next...

jeanneg, I was just reading over these posts and came to yours and started laughing so loud, I probably woke the kids. I ran to get my husband, Tim, the graphic arts stripper to show him your post. After turning 5 shades of red, he asked who was I "talking" with. I told him lots of people on...
