I'm leaving my husband, children and grandchildren home and going by myself to Boardwalk Inn Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 and Poly , Dec. 2 and 3. I'll finally be able to spend as much time at Epcot as I want.

I got Boardwalk Inn for $221.89 w/tax ($199) late Nov. and Poly for $233.04 w/tax early Dec.. I saved $90 a night for 5 nights on a pass I bought last year and used for 2 rooms a night that more than paid for my pass.

Have you tried the Disney Vacation Planning Kit? They have it on DVD or VHS and they show the parks and resorts. With the DVD you get a menu and can choose what you want to see.

I was just able to change my YC reservation Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 to the Boardwalk Inn (my first choice) which I couldn't get with an AP discount in August. So now it's BWI and Poly. I'm dancing!

I wasn't at YC but last Dec. we were at AKL and Poly and the kids swam every day. We sometimes needed a jacket in the evening, but there have been years when you needed coats in Dec. so you never know.

How long does it take to walk to Epcot? I originally wanted BWI but couldn't get it, so we are at YC. Would the walking time be any different? How about walking to MGM? How long is the walk to the Boardwalk?

You only need one passholder(child or adult) to rent rooms. I believe you can get up to three rooms.

Has anyone been able to get a room that is not concierge at Boardwalk Inn with EWP? I called on Aug. 25 and again yesterday looking for something Nov. 28 to Dec. 3 (any days). The only thing available is concierge.

I had the same problem with the website. When I put in the confirmation number it only showed the dates I would be there. I called WDW around 5 p.m. today and got a CM right away. I used the 877 number.

You don't have to have the AP to make a reservation. Wait until the AP rates come out and if they are available on the dates you want, buy an AP. They do include the deluxes. Last Dec. we got Poly for $185 GV and AKL concierge for $278 incl. taxes. Some will say to get 2 rooms for the 2...

The money I saved on room discounts paid for my AP. I got two rooms at AKL concierge and Poly for six nights and saved hundreds of dollars. I didn't buy the AP until after the discounts came out and I made reservations.
