Thank goodness! It was really difficult to fly cross country without any water to drink...except for the piddly little cups they would give out occasionally. This is great news. Thank you for sharing.
We get a styrofoam cooler, bottles of water for the park, some milk and cereal for DS's breakfast, some snacks for the room, and maybe some adult drinks for night.
We were not married there, but there have been weddings in the Swan the last two times we stayed there. Everything looked just stunning! They sure appeared to do an excellent job.
Sounds like a universally accepted truth: husbands hate waiting in lines. So placing a monetary value on it is a smart move when lobbying for a Uni hotel stay. :thumbsup2
My DH has emphatically stated that he will never go to Uni again without staying on property.
We've done it both ways: Uni first vs WDW first. Doesn't matter to us. Each experience is so different. We find Uni much more relaxing, so I guess it' snice to end there.
Found this on universalexcitement.com Looks like it came from the newspaper.

As you can see, no mention of a shiny new guitar in each room.... :confused3
We like to print out and carry CM Appreciation cards with us. They're a nice way to say thanks to someone who went out of their way to make you or your child smile. You personalize them with your name and hometown and my understanding is they can use them to show their managers. It's nice to see...
We never used the busses either. The boat will take you to MGM and Epcot and you can monorail over to MK from there. The only park you'd need the bus for would be AK.
We consider the Swan home now. We love everything about it. :cloud9:
The resort fee covered the use of the exercise facility and the high speed internet. It was not fair to charge it across the board, to guests who never used either.
Now you are only charged if you use them. The $10 covers 24 hrs of use.
When we did it, there wasn't an option of going during the day. We went on the first ride of the night and it was just dusk. Very nice. We could still see the sights and it got darker as we progressed.
