On our recent 4 day cruise, I went to the seminar "The Building of the Wonder". They had a few senior officers there to answer questions. Someone asked about a 3rd ship. One of the officers said, "Oh they are building thatone, and it will be called the Disney Rumor". Hahaha.
I met Jim Belushi once at a private party that a company I work with had hired him and his band to perform at. He mingled with the handful of people at the bar an hour or so before the show. He was extremely nice and very laid back. I am not surprised he was like that on the cruise.
I guess the excursions are outside of Disney's direct control...Although as pointed out above, the ship is very unlikely to have a problem. The excursions probably are more "risky". I read on this board about a guest (don't know if it was DCL) dying while scuba or snorkeling on an excursion...
Actually, I'm glad this thread is open. I did not realize that many people were genuinely offended by some of BDs posts, and if someone had unilaterally shut down the thread, I would never have realized it. Why close a thread down?
We will be onboard. It is my wife and I, 2 daughters (almost 10 and 8), 2 sons (5 and 6 1/2), and my wife's parents. My girls cannot wait to see who they can hang out with...
Actually, I think that part about the food means that the cannot say that some of their food won't possibly make you sick....
I wouldn't be too bent out of shape if a vending machine wasn't working...
Are any of the Castaway Cay excursions worthwhile? We were thinking of just hanging out, but then saw the Seahorse Snorkel Adventure and thought the kids might enjoy that. Has anyone ever done that at CC? Would kids 5-9 years old enjoy, or should we just relax on the beach?
