I don't know for sure....but in all the times I have been to TL I can't ever recall seeing one, so that leads me to believe you can't.

I would tend to agree with the other posters. Historically, I've owned for almost 20 years...I would say that the price Disney charges for deluxe hotel rooms is a bigger driver of rental rate increases compared to dues increases.

I don't believe so... All buildings have a combination of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2 bedroom (dedicated)villas. A "lock-off" 2-bedroom as BobNed said, is a 1-bedroom and a studio combined to make a 2-bedroom, so you have to request that type of configuration specifically no matter which building...

Another vote for Flippers...my family loves it and insists on going every trip

I would agree that early Dec is probably the best candidate for an increase in points, but as others have pointed out it has to be comprehensive and with the entire system in mind, not specific to one resort. Additionally, if past practice is any indication these types of point reallocations...

Anyone have any experience with trying to book late July @7 months. just found out my wife's sister is getting married in San Diego next July, sure would like to combine it into an extended vacation at Disneyland:)

Thanks for the info I was wondering the same thing. I guess i always thought you rented those umbrellas and chairs from Disney, but it looks like its a seperate company. I think we are going to grab one for our trip in June.

Bought 13 years ago, still love it, but with the kids moving into high school I can see changes in our traveling down the road, but I'm sure DVC will still play a role:)

I would agree, that for whatever reason the waitlists are the least understood part of DVC booking for the people at MS. They just dont seem to know exactly how it works, which by extension means that we dont really know exactly how it works.

I would be suprised if you could get 10 straight days @BCV at the end of June at 7months, that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.:)

As far as getting what I want at 7 months, the simple answer is ...Not as often as i used to. I think that is just the reality of what DVC has become in terms of size though, with more people in the system and "unequal demand" for all the locations that's what happens.

In a nutshell: 12 years of ownership (bought in 2000) First 7 years of ownership, over the moon Next 3 years of ownership, very good, minor complaints The last 2 years, shine wearing off, but still basicaly satisfied

I can second the Beach House bar at HH, if your talking about the open air thing off to the side of the pool at the Beach house.. the guy would not accept a tip when i tried a couple of years ago.

We like OKW for the easy parking, laid back feel and larger rooms.:)
