We just Love the Epcot area resorts. Stayed at BC last year. Staying YC this year. (for the same reasons just mentioned)... my order would be YC, BC, BCV

We are a family of 5 as well (ds9, ds5, dd4). And we've been to both. They Loved both resorts. BC (walk to epcot, boat to HS, walking around boardwalk, and THE POOL), POR (a little quieter, ole man island, boat to DD) I haven't been to AKL yet (can't wait to), so I really can't compare, but...

Same with us. We stayed last September, and I thought the buses were fine. Only shared with YC. (I'm not trying to sway anyone away from POR. We loved them both), but for different reasons.

We stayed at BC last year with kids 3, 4, and 8. They absolutely Loved the pool. But yes, it is very big, and deep in parts. So you definitely have to keep an eye on them. But if you don't mind that, it's awesome... great slide, lazy river, sandy bottom. Plus, being able to walk to Epcot, boat...

'day-day'... no, they didn't. But, I think JimmyMcG DID do that when he tallied his "percentages". He used his 'percentage' as a number of times someone ranked a resort 1st, compared to how many times they actually mentioned a resort.

This is a good question. We have stayed at both. And both have their positives. My kids liked CR better - monorail going through resort, walk to MK. My DW liked GF better. But... the two things that would Definitely tip the scales for ME... the one bedroom - a big plus the theme park view...

We have stayed at both. We all liked POR, esp my DW - the serenity, the southern charm. But we Loved WL!! I would Definitely switch!! Our family all agrees that POR is the best 'moderate', but once you stay "deluxe', it's very hard to go back.

It's kind of funny you actually wrote about this... I had the same question the first time I stayed at Beach/Yacht. And that's one of the big draws about staying there. We absolutely LOVE staying at the Epcot resorts.

It's not a monorail resort, but my kids (9,5,4) love Beach Club. Best pool by far. And it has Many hot tubs. Plus, walking distance to Epcot and Boardwalk.
