Because of Wilma...we went to MK on SAt Oct22. WE had wanted to go on Monday 24 (my daughters birthday). There were a lot of people, but wait lines were about 30 min. for big rides adn longer for a couple of rides in Fantasyland. MY advice get there when it opens...actuallly a few minutes...

If your children are small I think it is the chains they use to separete the lines. This past weekend it drove me crazy as kids just hung and swung them. They can't keep their hands off them and just kept running them into me and my family the whole time we waited in lines. Constant bang...

We got home this morning about 12:30 am. from our 10/21-10/24 trip. We rearranged our schdule to do all we wanted to do. WE did MK on SAt. It was humid and hot and lots of people but short wait times. It did rain late in the afternoon for a bit but stopped and the fireworks were great...

We were there-I didn't think it was bad-DTD opened at 1pm yesterday with all parks closed. It was sunny and breezy by 1pm.

The weather reports are mixed....I must get to work today...cook breakfast,teach, pack, get my kids packed and drive to catch plane for a fun vacation adventure in Orlando. Just hope the weather will be okay for Monday at the MK for my DD birthday.

We're going the same time as OP... We leave a little later Friday and return home late Sunday...We're hoping for a Magical day at the Kingdom Monday for our daughter's birthday. I know all is going to be just fine!

I look forward to playing Winter/summerland this coming weekend-my son and I missed playing Fantasia in April as he had gotten very ill and I had broken a bone in my foot at Typhoon lagoon earlier in the day. As we lay ill in the car-it was our last day-my husband and daughters played Fantasia...

We did in the spring-but my oldest DS (19) didn't wnat to go. Since your youngest won't remember, it might be fun spending time with the others.

It is your choice and you must do what you need to do. I personally think it waters down the whole idea if so many get pins and it's not their birthday or at least close by a day or two.

we're flying Delta 10/21 and 10/24 and I'm not worrried. Hummmm..maybe they would cancel that flight out of Orlando and we would have to stay a day longer...
