Denise, thank you for the precise directions. I've printed them out and put them in my folder. On our upcoming trip we will be going to Mass in Shrine of Mary after going to Animal Kingdom, and we will call into Premium after that, so this has been really helpful. (I have a map but the detail...
I've still got an Atari 2600!! Plus about 20 games or so. It was in attic in my parents house and we found it about 2 years ago. My nephew (15) and nieces (11 & 9) think it's absolutely hilarious (it works perfectly). They play it just for the entertainment factor :rotfl2: Of course they think...
Seeing as the kids don't start school until this coming September, the ideal solution (:rolleyes1 ;) ) is to go this May :yay:
Pity you didn't do Florida instead of DLP this time, but never mind, plenty of time yet. As others have said October half term, or even May half term are your best...
Hi there, I'm in Ireland too. I've been to Orlando twice and am returning in 6 weeks for my 3rd trip. I've been in Oct and May and found it hot but bearable with crowds at a reasonably OK level. August will be much busier and hotter, so don't overestimate how much you will be able to accomplish...
I've got a 1995 penny you can have. (I had about 50 coins in a sugar bowl in china cabinet and just went through them. Most of them seem to be 2000).
I think I have another small tub of coins in a drawer in work, will have a look next week. I know they used to be there, but can't remember if...
I was there the same time (May 2-13, 2005), not staying on site, so we didn't have FOTL. Had no problems at all with crowds, the only attraction that I remember queueing for any length at was JAWS. We could probably have avoided that too with a bit of planning. It was still only about 20 mins or...
Oh great, I was just going to ask as well about adult sizes. :) My Dad jokingly sometimes calls me "the thing" so I might get myself the nightshirt and will bring him back baseball cap, he can be thing 2 :thumbsup2 Might be fun presents for the nephews too.
In 2000 I was on a trip with family including 2 nieces. One was aged 3 years 3 months and the other had her 5th birthday during trip. Both girls had autograph books and had great fun getting the autographs. They wanted every characters signature (didn't matter if they had Mickey10 times, they...
May 2nd to 13th here. I intend to avoid Disney parks for the most part from May 5th to 8th (although do intend seeing Fantasmic Sat 7th I hope). We will do Universal and Kennedy Space Center those days and then will do Disney May 3, 4 and from May 9 to 12
Just under 8 days for us too, I almost can't believe that it is so near at last. A little bit of panic is starting to set in, although I don't even know why as we have everything ....I think, oh God, where's that checklist again :earboy2: :bounce:
We got our Disney and Universal tickets from Undercovertourist. They were recommended to me by somebody else and the main reason I used them was because they deliver to Ireland (my first choices that I saw recommended by many were ticketmania and mapleleaf, but although they deliver to UK they...
As I type we have 10d:11h:44m:5s :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cool1:
So in just under 12 hours we will be single digits too (I can hardly believe that we are now so near :goodvibes :goodvibes ). somehow I think that next week is going to be a VERRRRRRRRRRYY LOOOOONNNNG week :bounce: :bounce...
Can't be as bad as a hotel in Spain we were in last September! Postcards put in post box on hotel reception desk on Sept 14th were postmarked in Spain November 5th!!!!!!
It is great to know about the special DTD postmark. I hadn't heard of this before and I intend going to the scrapbooking...
Treat it as practice for the future. At 18 they are adults and will be doing their own thing, you have to start somewhere. I am in my 30s now, but on school trips to Dublin, London and Paris we were let free for 2 or 3 hours at a time (and given strict instructions etc) even at age 8 plus we...
Yes, in work I am every bit as efficient, for some reason I love organising office/paper type work so have a lovely tidy desk and get things done fast, place for everything etc, hate to leave at end of day unless everything sorted..............and that's where it ends (almost)
I HATE...
We will definitely look out for House of Innoventions, we are great ones for gadgets at home, so that should be interesting :flower: I had been wondering about Innoventions myself. I still have the internet postcard I sent myself in 2000, will definitely do this again, and won't have to send it...
One month from now, we will be on our way home :sad1: :sad2: (flying home on Friday 13th, DH wasn't too sure about that :teeth: ). Oh well, we are so lucky to be going on such a great holiday, WDW here we come :flower: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
Goofy's barnstormer tamer??? I don't know, I was in my 30s and found it worse than Big Thunder Mountain (which I didn't mind). For me it was because Barnstormer is "up in the air" so to speak, that is you can see down, whereas Big Thunder Mountain (like Splash) has "ground" underneath it and for...
