    San Diego to DLR

San Diego is quite a bit farther from Anaheim than Port Canaveral from DW. Conservatively a 1.5h drive (94 miles) (65 miles from DW to PC). There are a few options available to you though. One even mentioned by Disney here: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/en-ca/guest-services/transportation/...

It's about time! This is long overdue...

One factor that I think may get overlooked, is lap infants must be 24 months of age or less. I have taken my almost 2 year old on a flight to hawaii as a lap infant. He needed to be held the entire time. A good chunk was napping, but between feeding and being fussy with the cabin pressure, and...

Tea Kettle in SSR 2bdrm suites?

I am in your neck of the woods (Vancouver), and I'm very familiar with Murchie's. I order my Harney and Sons direct to an address in the US to get it, but many resellers have it on Amazon.ca. My recommendations: Black teas: Paris Tea (a good cross between an english breakfast and early grey)...

Tea Kettle in SSR 2bdrm suites?

My family has switched over to Harney & Son's teas. So good. Plus they have a disney collection of collectable tins.

Tea Kettle in SSR 2bdrm suites?

Oooooh. I hadn't thought about just asking for one.

Tea Kettle in SSR 2bdrm suites?

Can anyone confirm if the SSR 2 BDRM suites have a kettle in them? (Electric or stovetop) We are tea drinkers.

Allegiant airlines customer service number ??

Consider that their official FAQ says if you have concerns after completing travel, sent them snail mail. https://www.allegiantair.com/faqs Probably not good. They are the budget of the budget carriers. (I got burned when their checked baggage weight allowance was 10lbs lower than any other...

As I mentioned, I tried 2 and 4 as well. Nothing.

No ADR breakfast in MK May 3

At 60+2 I can't find any ADR for breakfast in MK for May 3 for 2, 4, or 5 people. (I need 5). I wanted crystal palace brunch, but there is entirely nothing for breakfast at any of the restaurants for ADRs. what the heck.

"Guaranteed Verandah with Restrictions" what does this mean?

Yeah, I was tempted at a transatlantic 11-night from Southampton to NY at only $5400 for a Verandah stateroom (not VGT) for 4 people. But then I looked at flight cost to England, and from NY back home, almost the same cost again.

    Coffee Makers at SSR

Agreed. I can't drink coffee (nor use water that has been through a coffee maker), and will be in a 2bdrm at SSR. was hoping there was a kettle (electric or traditional). Microwaving water is... useful, but only if it is in a container that can pour it out. Microwaving it in the mug is evil.

    Coffee Makers at SSR

Add on question. Is there a kettle as well at SSR? (Not coffee pot hot water).

    Most you’d spend on airfare?

I just spend $500USD each on economy round trip from Seattle to Orlando (direct, but even with layovers it only saved $25 each). I'll have to pay baggage on top of that. I used to see flights like this for $300 USD in the pre- times.

    Which day for MK?

If you are staying at a deluxe/DVC resort, go on Wednesday to MK, as you get the extended evening hours (2 more hours)

    Wonder Sept 19th?

Unlikely to be a dry dock, as Wonder will be in Vancouver at that point, and we don't have one for cruise ships. My guess is prepping for the trans-pacific voyage, securing things for open seas, and maybe a crew change.

Bar Crawls - I'm leading one, need some pointers!

Well a traditional bar crawl is a pint at each one, all in one go. But since you have tons of time, I supposed you could do one per night.

    Savi’s booking before 60 days?

You can make bookings for dining, savi's, etc, starting 60 days from the start of your disney hotel stay, up to a maximum of 10 days. this is also known as 60+10. At least that is how it has been explained to me, and why my booking window opens March 2 (60 days ahead of May 1), even though I...

    Is it typical...

At time of silver check-in on the Wish for May, there were several tastings available, but not at the best times (not sure if it is because they were only at those times, or the other times sold out). I saw Rum, Gin, Whiskey, Mixology all on offer still (but most were at 8pm, which doesn't...

First Cruise ….Final Payment Made…. Now What?

I can tell you that this is not my first disney cruise, but I have one coming up and the only things I booked was the Stingray feeding at Castaway Cay, and a shave at Hook's Barbary. We aren't huge drinkers, so didn't need to book any tastings. We like experiencing the MDR menus, so I wasn't...
