I normally do not give my son anything personalized for the reason you mention. However, I will make an exception in WDW. I feel comfortable to do so at his age in that environment. (He's seven.)

You nailed it right there. It is a natural consequence of her behavior and decisions. By not bringing it to her, you are reinforcing that she needs to take ownership of her responsibilities. She will be far more likely to remember it next time because of the drama she's causing from it. You are...
