We were there the first week it reopened and everything was basically the same, just some minor decor changes. As far as the princesses go, Rapunzel (I was stoked) showed up instead of Jasmine. I didn't ask if the change was permanent or not.

When someone cancels a reservation it becomes available immediately. I have coordinated quite a few times and it has always worked that way. Hope this helps!!!

I would do both. Your daughter will not be 5 forever so take advantage of seeing her face light up when she meets all of the princesses. It's priceless!!!
