Pack and Plays, food and baby things .....

My daughter was 6 months old on our last cruise. The pack and play they gave us came with sheets and they gave us a diaper genie that the room attendant emptied every day. She wasn't eating much in solids at that point, but we were able to find things for her at every buffet meal: applesauce...

Are characters allowed to hold babies?

We took our 6 month old on the Dream last fall and the princesses all took turns holding her in their laps. We got some very sweet photos. We held her for all other character photos.

Advice for getting very young children to love the Clubs?

My son was at nearly the exact place on our last cruise as your daughter will be. He did great in the clubs! We went to the open house on the first day and he spent a little solo time in there every day. There were several times he didn't want to leave!

    Ohana in November?

'Ohana is really hard to get for dinner if you want to eat before 9. We are spending a few days in Disney before our November cruise and wanted to eat there. 180 days out I was able to get an 8 pm time for a party of 7 and was pretty happy with that. I happened to check again about a half an...

    Sandals for Palo?

I wore sandals like this to Palo and had no problem: http://m.kohls.com/kohlsopenapi/productmobile.html?productID=1625338 There's a definite difference between a rubber flip flop and a dressy sandal.

Would you take a baby on a cruise?

My son took his first Disney cruise at almost 10 months and my daughter at 6 months. I tell everyone that it's absolutely the best vacation to take with a baby! They can't use the pools until they are potty trained, but both of my kids had a blast on their first cruises, and my husband and I...

    3-Night Cruise Photo Package

The photo CD will include photos of anyone in the stateroom that the CD purchase is linked to, and also includes photos of minor children assigned to a different stateroom. We had 2 connecting staterooms on our last cruise and one of our kids was booked into a different room than we were. All...

Cruising with an 18 month old

My son sailed for the first time at 10 months, then at 3 and is booked again when he'll be 4.5. My daughter was 6 months and will be 19 months in November for her second cruise. It's the best, most relaxing vacation we've ever had with kids. And they were still with us almost 100% of the time...

buying the photo cd before sail date

Yes, you can buy a CD with all of your photos and a copyright release so you can print whatever you want. We just purchased a CD from our 4 night Dream cruise for $229.99 and got nearly 400 photos.

Birth Cert vs. Passport for a 2yo

My kids are 4 and 10 months and both have passports. I knew that we technically didn't need them for the cruise that we went on, but they gave me a little extra security and opened up a lot more travel possibilities. Now if we see a great deal on a trip somewhere, we can book it without worrying...

Those Who Have Cruised with a Baby

We were just on a 4 night Dream cruise with our 6 month old daughter. She is exclusively breastfed so we didn't have to deal with bottles or taking milk on or off the ship, but we did bring our own compact umbrella stroller and we did bring it to the dining room every night. She sat in a high...

    Pajama Party on Dream?

My son went to the pajama party on our November Dream cruise. It was on the last night of our 4 night cruise and he loved it!

I put all of the items I wanted signed in the same bag with a pack of 12 markers and the sheet with our stateroom # and character requests on it.

    Signed pillowcase question

Obviously every guest has their own experience, but I have three kids and had no trouble getting them each a signed pillowcase.

Nov 10, 2014- Dream is alive - 2 days in Paradise and a Day at Sea

This will be our 4th November cruise and we've had pretty good weather each time. Last year we had 1 slightly windy/chilly day but we were able to swim and snorkel at Castaway Cay with no problem. The water wasn't super warm but it was tolerable and there was quite a bit of sun.

    Princess Gathering

We went to the gathering on the sea day on our last cruise and we got on line about 30 minutes before the princesses came out and were through all 6 meet and greets within another 30 minutes, even with taking multiple pictures of my kids and getting autographs. The line did get long but it...

Question on ordering at Palo and Remy

My husband and I ate at Palo on the Dream in November. We had no problem ordering whatever we wanted, which ended up being 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 half orders of pasta and 3 desserts. Our server also brought us a dish of berries to go with them and didn't seem put out by any of our requests...

    Gratuities with an infant

I have taken both of my children on cruises as infants. They were both still nursing at the time and ate very little table food. Their diapers were not very smelly. While I am certain that they created much less work for the people that we tipped on their behalf, I just considered it part of the...
