A few years ago we were in MK waiting in line for the Jungle Cruise when I heard some loud *****ing and screaming and lots of cursing from a guy behind us. There was a small group behind us, a guy and lady in their 20s, one of their mothers and a child. The F bombs just kept going very loudly...
We’ve been there that week and one thing that stuck with me was the absolute gridlock in Magic Kingdom. There were so many strollers and people in the evening you honestly couldn’t move, felt like Times Square on the holidays. They opened a back alley to alleviate outbound traffic.
I did it and it was fantastic. Made the reservation for a solo diner; called and asked if I’d be able to get served as @ solo diner and they said sure. Arrived and the host and server each didn’t know but sat me anyway. Then they said I couldn’t get it which was very disappointing. Manager said...
The first time we took our daughter to WDW we bought a custom passport on eBay where the vendor put her photo and information on it and it looked very authentic and made for a nice keepsake once it was filled out.
Weight limit is 320lbs. The driver is not able to use their phone/camera but a passenger can. I was able to sneak some photos every chance I had when I noticed the patrol not watching.
Not sure how I never knew about these but stumbled across them today at the Grand Floridian. By Disney standards or anyone else’s, they were extremely affordable and a ton of fun. Will certainly do it again when I return, so hoping they are running in November.
I have eaten at Bongos many times, inside and out, lunch and dinner and also from the express takeout and it has always been good. I never did get the dislike for the place based on reviews unless people just don’t get the menu/Cuban food.
Sunday Dinner at Enzo’# Hideaway was a superb meal for the $45 price. The pizza in Pizza Ponte was fantastic as was their sandwiches and desserts. As stated above the Chicken Guy was actually pretty good, much better than expected.
To answer my own question, this special meal is not available for a solo diner.
I made a reservation, called and asked and they said I could order it. When I showed up the hostess said she wasn’t sure but sat me anyway. Then the waiter came over and he too said he wasn’t sure, so he went and...
I have a solo diner reservation for dinner coming up but was thinking a lunch trip might be the better choice as the prices were a few dollars cheaper for the same thing.
That’s not exactly how the scenario was presented, 20 sharing unlimited food paid for by 1. Instead, it was suggested that the food would be portioned controlled for the paying diners, therefore the 20 would be sharing the food fit for 1, or a small bite each.
What do they do for solo diners? Sit you at your own table or at the bar? Put you at a table with strangers and have you share?
And on a side note, can a guest be seated and not order or is it treated like a buffet that all seated guests must pay? Have a teenager that won’t eat all of this but...
Looks so good I just added this ADR for Sunday and dropped its neighbor the Edison, which I’ll head to on Monday. So for a solo diner do they seat you with a random group and share off their family dining style plates?
I found a resort map that shows which rooms have King beds and which are disability access rooms.
