If requesting a ride with Uber or Lyft, you should request about 5-10 minutes before you're ready.. A driver is usually about 5-10 minutes away from you, especially if you're in DL already (sometimes I just park in DTD or the Garden Walk and wait for a request to come through LOL)

last thursday we were stuck on Grizzly for a good half hour, they drained the attraction (down to about 6" of water) and we walked off. we were just 2 rafts away from the big drop. so sad. :(

i can attest whole heartedly that i go almost exclusively (for the Summer season) on Saturdays because the crowds really are lighter than any other weekday/sunday. Comparatively, if I go on a Sunday (DAP) or Tues/Wed (D & SoCal), it's so much better to go on Saturdays instead.

it's almost always been closed for Half Marathon weekend, for the HMH overlay.. you'd have to come a week prior to see it before it goes down. You can come back to the DL half next year for the 10th anniversary. ;) new medal too. :D
