OP here, we had the stomach flu and all five of us were sick so I am just now getting to your responces. I will look into buying a three pronged pack with a frio pack to cool the meds and be able to keep them with us at all times. Thank you to all of you who took the time to give me helpful...

Our food allergy experience at DL/DCA 4/18-4/25

Thank you or clarifying the comment. The comment about subjecting and planning did strike me the wrong way. We worked hard planning and brainstorming. I looked into rice cookers, renting a small microwave, and other assorted cooking devices. I emailed DLH to request microwave access...

Our food allergy experience at DL/DCA 4/18-4/25

OP here, just for the record, my son does not like bread and prefers his burgers without a bun. We were not privilaged to get a free room with a kitchen as DH had the room paid for through work, for a business conferrence that he attended. We were happy to have the fridge. By all means, please...

Our food allergy experience at DL/DCA 4/18-4/25

Sorry to worry you. We stopped at the Walmart just off of Euclid and it was only a few mins drive to DL to stock up. We had a mini fridge only in our room. We bought a loaf of white bread, some individual packages of Budding meat, jelly, and individual bags of chips. We got raisen bread and...

Our food allergy experience at DL/DCA 4/18-4/25

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Disneyland with a child who has several food allergies and thought that I would share some of our experiences. DS is allergic to peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, all crustations like shrimp and shelled sea food, peas, and green beans. The complete trip...

We just got back from a wonderful first trip to Disneyland 4/18-24, new info1st post

So, I just noticed that there is a trip report board- could the mods move this to the proper board? I wasn't aware that there was another board for reports. I was a little nervous because a travel agent friend stated that she thought that I would be disappointed with DL as it was "surrounded"...

OP here, We got back late last night. We had a wonderful first visit to Disneyland. I have not caught up with this thread but wanted to share as much as possible about the closures as I could for those of you who are going to visit soon. The only rides that were always down/closed were...

A vent and request for updates for headliners rides reopening this week...

OP here, we are leaving in about an hour to go to the airport. I did not tell my little man that the rides may be up as it would be entirely better for them to be a surprise, if they start running, for him then to get his hopes up again. I really appreciate all of the helpful posts and the...

    We have convention ticket questions?

Dh printed off 8x11 size tickets for his convention through the Disney Convention link. These full size papers say to take them to the gates ? to turn them in for our 5 day hoppers. This just seems wrong to me. We do not want to waste time on our first morning trying to exchange tickets...

A vent and request for updates for headliners rides reopening this week...

OP here, please, please don't turn this thread into a debate, we all feel for the Bostonians and everyone else who were involved in the problem in Boston. It's true that a particular ride will not make a big difference in my life or future. I thank God that no one I knew was there and have...

A vent and request for updates for headliners rides reopening this week...

So, it is what it is. If anyone who is visiting the parks over the next few days can give a daily update on ride closures that would be wonderful! We would like to be able to give the little guy a head's up on the rides not opening the days we are visiting the parks as our vacation...

Thank you all again for all the added information! We have flown before but have not needed a booster for DS7 as we used buses for transportation in the past. Since we are driving we will need that booster. I think I looked at BB booster and the weight limit was too small- DS7 weighs...
