With all of the planning ahead involved with Disney vacations it's nice to have the option for a little spontaneity. If we are staying in the Boardwalk we hop over to Epcot in the evenings. If we are in a monorail resort we hop over to MK or maybe Epcot. I don't book ADR's for every single night...

I compare JB and SW out of PVD when planning. The last two trips I got $99 each way with Southwest. Though it was more than $99 because I added Earlybird it was still cheaper than JetBlue and that two free bags really saved us this last time.

We did encounter one very long wait at HS on 1/30. It was the longest line we saw that week. It took about 15 minutes to get through which wasn't bad. It looked way worse. They are definitely being more thorough which is okay with me.

You'll probably be at the resort by 10:30am - 11:00am...hopefully. You can leave your bags with bell services immediately upon your arrival. You can check in then if you'd like and they can send you a text when your room is ready. Or just leave your bags and hop right on the bus to the parks...

I was just talking with a co-worker about this a few minutes ago. The mattress in all weighs 13 pounds and you get two free checked bags for free with Southwest (up to 50 pounds each). So I am going to place the order and bring an second bag for the mattress....that I can stuff with souvenirs...

I do one day in each park (including arrival day) but I always get hoppers so we can go to a different park in the evening. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom end up not being full day parks for us so we hop over to MK or Epcot in the evening.

With no Soarin' the rope drop for Test Track is going to be crazy(er).

Lucky you! I can't wait until I'm that close. You could order some Magic Band stickers from Etsy to liven up the plain Magic Bands. I saw some Disney Christmas themed ones earlier today. :)
