Currently in the parks and constantly getting passed by people with Fast Passes. Where are they all coming from? Most are families with no wheelchairs, etc. Am I missing something?

It definitely does! And if I do end up with extra time at the hotel, I would much rather take they $1000 I have saved and buy drinks by the pool when I WANT them and not when the lounge offers them for "free". :)

So - you made me think of one more question. If we have a suite (1 king and 2 singles) can the extra person opt to sleep on the couch (not sofa bed) instead of getting the roll away? Guess I should probably just bite the bullet and call them.

You do have to pay for third adult in suites as well. I do know about that. What I am wondering is why do you have to pay for a rollaway for the fifth person when they advertise that it has a couch bed in the room for that fifth person. That’s the advantage of the deluxe room.

Also - it says occupancy of 5 due to pull out sofa. However, in the description it also says that the maximum occupancy of 5 requires extra $ for a roll away. Is this just copied over from the regular rooms or do they still charge you extra for the 5th person even though there is a sofa bed?

Are the 2 Queen deluxe rooms really big enough for mom, 2 18yo, and two younger teens? I am able to upgrade to a Club Level Rock Star Suite but I don't think I will take advantage of the club much since we are park open-close people. Also, it's hard to swallow the $1000 price difference...

We are doing close to the same thing. From what I can tell the Dec 26-28 will be the most crowded. We decided to stick to Universal for those days given that at least we will have express passes (staying at HR). Since Disney won't have fast passes and will also have heavy crowds I pushed them...
