Apart from your countries nationality , what was the most common nationality at your high school?

I went to high school in Toronto in the 1970's. There were lots of different heritages, but almost everyone would have identified as Canadian. The only exceptions that I can recall were 2 students who identified as American and 1 who was from Jamaica.

If you havent been back to WDW in a while

I thought we would go back the year after we went. It has now been over 3 years, And will probably 3 more years until our next trip.

    Upgrading to Annual Pass???

If you think you will be going back within a year it could work well. It would cost about $350 more for each of you (not sure of exact current prices). You can go to any guest services to do this. It makes no difference in price if you do it on your first day or last, but many people suggest...

    Touring Plans Membership?

I used last spring, and found the customized plans for universal to be well worth it. I will use TP again for my next trip. Definitely think it's worth the extra $6.

Magic Band Question For a Second Visit

When it gets closer your MDE will show an option to customize your magic bands. You will be able to use your new one as well as your old one. Have your old one with you at check in so that your room can be linked to it.

Which park does Pop Century "belong" to?

I believe it is part of the ESPN area, for what that's worth. As far as getting to the parks, I think pop has one of the best bus services to all the resorts. Can't walk to any, but buses are good. If you are driving it is a quick drive to Epcot and hs, and fairly direct to ak.

Tunnel or Bridge Crossing at Windsor for I75?

Bridge for sure. It is very easy to get onto I75 once you cross the border. There is some construction in Windsor, but it doesn't really slow you down. You might also want to pick up a copy Dave Hunter's book "driving along I75". A lot of helpful information and an excellent series of maps...

    Detroit to Disney...

Not really comparing 2 hrs 15 minutes to 2 days. Akron is over 3 hours from the border crossing. Ned to allow for time at airport for screening, baggage check, parking, etc., as we'll as adding a cushion for traffic and border delays. Your 2 hours 15 should be more like 7 and then you still...

We'd like a little more space at Disney

I would agree with 2 rooms and asking for them to be connecting. Lots of room, 2 bathrooms, 2 televisions, 4 beds and privacy when wanted. Plus a lot cheaper.

    Detroit to Disney...

I know that a lot of people are suggesting flying over driving, but I for one think the drive is one of the best parts of the vacation, plus you have your own vehicle, can bring along as much as you want, and for us Canadians bring home a little more. As long as you are self aware of your...

    Detroit to Disney...

We did this drive this past spring. I also live about 20 minutes from Windsor. I would highly recommend Dave Hunter's book 'Along I75". Lots of good information. (Including hotel recommendations, restaurants, gas, rest stops, etc.) There are lots of places just off the highway to eat. If...

2 Rooms; who can get in?

Your magic bands will only work on the room you are assigned to, but Disney doesn't care who stays in which room. We had this situation in the spring. My wife and I were booked in different rooms. They could not change the magic band information at check in. We found that it really wasn't a...

    Pop after Port Orleans Riverside

We had planned on staying at French Quarter this past spring. For budget reasons switched to two rooms at POP. It worked out to be a great decision. Loved the buses, food court, and the CM's. Had 3 adults in one room and 2 in the other. Beds were comfortable. Room big enough. Very clean...

Which hotel is the best fit?

Maybe look at a deluxe room at the Hard Rock. Two queen beds plus a sleeper sofa, and is walking distance to the parks.

Best Resort area TS with no ADR - mid Nov

Big River Grille on the Boardwalk would be an option. They don't take reservations and are open for lunch and dinner.

    Belle River, Ontario

As previous post mentioned the area around Windsor and Belle River is very flat. Malden Park is one of the few hills, and it is not a certainty to have snow. One place that is really a lot of fun is River Valley Tube Slide. Should have a good snow cover by Christmas week. The only problem is...

    Belle River, Ontario

If you are looking for things to do for just one day in November you might find the waterfront parks in Belle River and Point Pelee to be a little cool (especially compared to Florida). There is a Chuck e Cheese restaurant in Windsor, food is nothing wonderful but the games and atmosphere have...
