    New Year's 2005

The prices I'm prepared for, not sure about the crowds. We were there for the 4th of July this year, and I had a hard time with the crowds then. Perhaps, I could stay at a resort with a view of fireworks?

    New Year's 2005

Hi all! I'm thinking about planning at trip to the World for New Year's, 2005. 1. Is it worth it? I've been in the spring and summer but not the winter. 2. Where would you suggest to stay? There are 6 of us, at that time the children will be 18, 13, 10 and 8. We have stayed at FW...

    FW Newbie

Hello We stayed in the Cabin this past July and loved it!!! There were 6 of us. The 4 children slept in the bedroom (set of bunks and I think it's a Queen size bed--2 of the girls shared). We slept in the living room on the Murphy bed, very comfortable and roomy. Hope this helps!!

    7/4-7/11 2004...tentative travel?

We were there the 1st to the 11th this year! As others have said it is HOT and can be crowded. Although I noticed 2 days after the 4th, the crowds were less. The fireworks are awesome and you children will love them. I hope you have a ball!

Where to stay for budget minded

I guess the important question is, what do you consider expensive? Do you have an AP or any other discount? The cabins could be a good choice, because you would have the kitchen which would save money on food. Have you explored buying points for one of the Home Away from Homes? Or...

    Sending groceries ahead?

Yes! It is worth the xtra effort. I shipped a whole bunch of stuff ahead of time. It saved $$ and time in the stores. I started looking around and went to each store in my area that was having buy 1 get 1 free sales, and then 1 for the house, 1 for the cabin. I shipped 3 cases of water...

Do U Do Laundry on Your Trip?

Yes, FW has laundry facilities. It is $2.00 per washer and 25 centers per 15 minutes of drying time. When I did laundry there a week ago, I found that the dryers worked really well and I didn't need more than 1/2 hour drying time.

    Towel Animals at FW?

We were there 7/1/03 til 7/11/03. Mousekeeping was wonderful! There were always towel arrangements, whether they were animals or cute tooth brush holders. The stuffed animals were always put into cute positions as well. I have to say that my experience with Mousekeeping at the FW was...
