first trip to DLR, spring break 2015

Thanks, DisneyMommy77 - I moved Goofy's Kitchen to late morning of second day after your info and other posts above. First day we will be pretty much free. I *feel* that with 5 days in the park we should be able to do about everything that we want, especially since there are a decent amount of...

first trip to DLR, spring break 2015

THANK YOU figment jii, I think I will move our Goofy's Kitchen breakfast to Monday after reading your thoughts. Thinking of doing it late as kind of a mid-day break. Leaving Sunday open is probably smarter for our first day, they will surely be wide-eyed and having a great time. As fun as...

first trip to DLR, spring break 2015

Sun-Thurs are all park days, just nothing "scheduled" for Tues as far as reservations. How long would you allow for breakfast @ Goofy's - would you move it to either the earliest (7AM) or latest (11:30, I think?)

first trip to DLR, spring break 2015

Thanks, chickapin, hmmm, my other thought would be to do Goofy's Kitchen breakfast as soon as they open, then? How long should I expect it to take?

first trip to DLR, spring break 2015

My family has done 2 Disney cruises now, but we have not been to any parks. Decided DLR was the best one to start with. Just looking for any input on what I have planned so far - I have been reading this board since last October watching for tips and tricks, and I have learned a ton, so thank...

    Magic - staterooms 6552 and 6554?

We are booked in these for Dec 2014, any experience out there? I know they are connecting, we are in both of them. Wondering if there were issues in this area after dry dock but feel pretty confident that by then all will be just fine...

    Another change to Onboard Booking?

I am pretty new, we just did our first cruise and *did* go ahead and do the OBB. But the only reason I did so is that we need connecting staterooms, if that were not the case we would have little or no reason to book far in advance. If we were more flexible in what we needed, we would wait for...

    trip insurance question

Thanks, Mommb! The flight stuff won't matter as we are driving but the pre-existing conditions very well could, so I will be sure to bring that up with the TA on Monday. My first "gut" instinct was to not get insurance through Disney but I was beginning to consider it, maybe it will be back...

    trip insurance question

I know about insuremytrip.com and have done *some* research, of course, but my question for the folks here is: is it ever the right choice to use Disney insurance? If we do CFAR coverage with a non-Disney insurance company and something happens in the last 48 hours before we leave that is not...

dooney & bourkes for the dream

:) OK - I am not allowed to "quote" your picture.....darn it! I have NEVER had a D&B or really wanted one, but I WANT this. ::yes:: How much should I budget for it if you don't mind telling me - someone listed a "range" above and I am thinking this would be towards the top end of that based...

    Differences between Carnival and Disney?

I too think it had NOTHING to do with someone childless NOT being a real woman and everything to do with Mom's just don't (generally) look like models, and it is not even on their priority list any more. More perhaps directed at the possibly younger/more shallow people on Carnival than having a...
