Star Wars Land in 2018? Nope! 2019

I still think it is long time to have the park under construction and continue to raise prices. Just my opinion. :)

Star Wars Land in 2018? Nope! 2019

Local news just announced that Disney is saying 2019. And it will coincide with the release of star wars 9. Is it just me or is this a long time for the park to be under construction?

Disneyland at Christmas/Holiday Season Superthread #5

We are looking to just visit the grand. so if we park for Downtown Disney, we cannot enter the hotel anymore?

Disneyland at Christmas/Holiday Season Superthread #5

I was trying to see if anyone knew if they had Santa at the Grand Californian or any of the Disney hotels this year. We had to let our passes go, but thought our daughter would enjoy a Santa visit at the grand and then get a treat there.

Howard Johnson vs. Candy Cane Inn - help me choose!

We have stayed at HOJO's and love the water area there. But even at the short distance, the walk is loooong at the end of the night when tired. There is an art stop and we did use that to ease tired feet and the cost is not too bad for a multi-day pass. I keep wanting to stay at the CCI...

The Disneyland Hotel - To Stay or Not to Stay...that is the question...

The only property I have stayed on site in was the Grand California, in a standard non-view room. The stay was gifted by a friend using DVC points. But even then (2005) I would have never paid for it. Back then there was no early entry, so the only real benefit was being Downtown and the...

Steak house 55 or Napa rose?

We have done Steakhouse 55 and found it a terrific experience. We were well kept after, the food was spectacular, it was a really terrific meal. Even surprised with a complimentary amuse-buche from the chef for both the adults and one for the kidlet. The next day we had lunch at Blue Bayou and...

    English Toffee No More!!

We discovered this last month and were told that they were having supplier issues. Everywhere we looked, they were chock full of peanut brittle. EVERYWHERE. And that was pretty much all they had outside the case. They are also missing some case things at the Candy Palace due to the same...

    Plaza Inn

Chicken and the Cobb, and sometimes we get one of each and then get salad and dinner :) . Although my daughter gets the children's pasta with the white sauce that has chicken in it and it is fairly tasty.

    Anaheim Hilton Flash Sale $99/nt

And then I figured it out...definitely a DOH moment. However the cheapest rate was $149, which was a bit more then I would care for especially with a 20+parking/resort fee. But a good rate never the less!

    Anaheim Hilton Flash Sale $99/nt

Your favorite thing to eat at Disneyland

If you are doing breakfast at Minnie and friends, i think they are the same little one's we have gotten at Whitewater Snacks. I think the only big mickey waffles in the park are at the Carnation Cafe. For me the ones at Minnie's would be enough, since I am sure the taste is the same, just a...

Your favorite thing to eat at Disneyland

Another vote for Plaza in chicken dinner. SUPER good and worth every penny along with the Cobb salad there. I loved the BBQ chicken and coleslaw potato, which has recently gone away..sigh. We like hitting Carnation cafe for the burger melt, and during the hotter months, one of the cheaper TS...

Thy moved that taters back to troubadour? They were there prior to being moved to the Harbor Galley. Please tell me it is true. The bbq chicken with slaw was my fav light meal/heavy snack.

    Steakhouse 55 recommendations

We went for out anniversary this year in July (along with our well behaved 8 year old). Here is from my trip report: "We had Steakhouse 55 reservations at 5:30 so we headed back out about 4:45. It is a pleasant walk from our hotel through DD to the Disneyland hotel. The restaurant’s lounge is...

    Jungle Cruise Breakfast

It is a money grab, but it is also a somewhat special opportunity, just like the BB one is. Which one it is, well that is in the eye of the beholder. The BB sounded so fun, but their food is only ok and $450 for that experience does not interest me. I love the jungle cruise and breakfast...

    Jungle Cruise Breakfast

I would rather take the money, have an outstanding steakhouse 55 meal followed by some fun at trader Sam;s with my little family of three and pocket the remaining 600 dollars for more trips..lol.
