Orange Lake Country Club...they have 3 courses, with an Executive course that is either open, or going to open soon. They also have a 9-hole course that you can walk, that's lit at night. I played the resort course and the Legends course. All the courses were well-kept. OLCC is minutes from...

Nah....we did one last May....waste of $$$. The pkg people were shuffled off to one side....we would've been better off eating cheaper and walking in later....

Orange Lake Country Club! We stayed there last year and loved it. OLCC was actually our 2nd choice...we tried for Vistana Resorts, but couldn't exchange for the time that we wanted. We'll be staying at the Vistana this year, (mid-May), so don't know much about it. Hope this helps!

We're in a similar situation...arriving at 11:00 pm on a Thursday and have a Friday thru Friday week at Vistana resorts. We got the same deal as LJ01 for the Clarion, ($50.00 including tax), on the Airtran web-site. Seems like a nice hotel, close, 24 hour shuttle service and a full breakfast...

Dollar charges and additional $5.00 per day, for an additional driver, even if it's your spouse and even if you're a member of Fastlane.....

OLCC is very close to the parks.....if memory serves it's about 10 minutes. Very easy drive.....something like 2 turns....left out of the resort and turn right onto the World drive ramp, which takes you into Disney World...we loved OLCC...we had a 2BR condo. Very clean, pretty and VERY big...

We use one of those "Team" flags, you know, the ones that you are held on the window by rolling up the window.....we put it in our carry-on and stick it on the car as soon as we rent it...works great! We always take our Cal Ripken Orioles flag.....

Hi Lisa! It's a BIG resort, so bikes might be a good idea. We stayed there last year and loved it and I think you will too. Have fun!

We usually go in late September/early October. Last year we went, mid-May, and enjoyed it so much that we booked again for this May! The crowds are low, and the weather was great!

Great time of year to go! In the past, we've gone in late September/early October, but our last trip was in mid-May and, we loved it so much, that we're going next May!

YES! There's no attraction, (IMHO of course!),that warrants any wait over an hour.....We prefer mid-May, or late September/early October. Shorter hrs, yes, but small crowds with little or no wait times for rides!
