Will we regret going in June?

Greetings! Also a teacher, been to WDW and DL at different times, this year June 1st was the only real choice. I am hoping that due to the snow days, WDW might not get as busy as soon as usual - here in Phoenix, we had High School Graduation a week ago, and we're not as worried about the heat...

Does anyone else miss the spontaneity

Greetings! While my DW and I are planners - and remember when there were so few resorts at WDW that you had to book 15 months in advance - the latest FP+ concept was just one step too many. I understand the need for - and enjoyment of - planning a WDW trip. I have no problems with picking...

    Opinions on SSR and BCV

One fact that rarely is mentioned is that a DVC ownership will last 40+ years. Making a purchase based primarily on one's current situation - toddlers, in this case - may a case of short-term thinking. What appears attractive to a family in one situation might not be as attractive in another...

    AK Evening EMH

I second (third? fourth?) doing AK during PM EMH. The park is lit beautifully, but not so much as to eliminate many of the delightfully dark areas. And not only is EE grand at night, but so is KRR.

    Current Rides/Attractions and their Predacessors

Before Ohana it was the Papeete Bay Verandah. (And the buses used to have flags indicating their destination)

    Waterpark etiquette ???

Greetings! I *did* read all the posts (yeah, well, I couldn't sleep) and one question comes to mind; I'd be curious to see what others think. Let me frame it: At Disney parks and resorts, there are two types of items people use. There are items that someone paid for specifically: hotel...

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 3: To The Top of the World

Yeah, that's the one! On the float, his wings would open up, there would be steam/mist, then they would fold closed....

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 4: The Wide World of Wookies

A very appropriate name - we once saw 9 at once while walking past the swampy edge of the walk to DTD....

? about late evenings and the wristbands

We just got back, and they are checking very thoroughly at the rides for the wristbands. We saw several groups denied ride access because of this....

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 4: The Wide World of Wookies

Nope. They are really quite cute; dark brown with lots of hop. I just compare them to the long-eared rabbits we see here in Arizona; their ears are really short; less than the size of their heads....

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 3: To The Top of the World

I agree - this was an odd trip, meal-wise. We'll definitely do Earl of Sandwich next time - we also figure that we can try ordering apps for dinner instead of the giant entrees (we're not yet ready to be that couple that always splits a dinner). We ate at Giordanno's once before - it's right...

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 4: The Wide World of Wookies

Day 4 ( Sat 6/3 ): The Wide World of Wookies -or- Is that a Lightsaber in Your Pocket or are You Just Happy to See Me? Greetings! Another early wake up, another spiffy (and cheap) in-room breakfast and we're off in the car for the rope drop at MGM. When we got there, the lines at the...

DrTomorrow @ WDW - Day 3: To The Top of the World

Day 3 ( Fri 6/2 ): To The Top of the World -or- If, Perchance, You See a Yeti, Should You Offer It Spaghetti? Greetings! After a good night's sleep (which is usually the case at WDW since we always get back to the room dead tired and later than we'd planned) we're up early for a morning...
