Coke freestyle machines—is it really progress?

We just got home from BC and I agree, the Freestyle machines were a nightmare. The dozens of choices are one thing, but the major problem seemed to be the fact that the touch screen didn't seem to respond to any selection unless you pressed it 10 times. It was beyond frustrating. I love those...

    January: Christmas 2.0?

It may have been a combination of the two. The crowds were definitely on the heavier side. We could barely walk through them in some places, and when HEA started, forget about it. You couldn't move. We stood in the Haunted Mansion line for 90 minutes, which has never happened. Zero fastpasses...

    January: Christmas 2.0?

Our family has been going to Disney in January over the past few years. Our first year was amazing–very low crowds, great weather, etc. But, the past two years have been dreadful. Each year, the week we select (the 4th week of the month, after MLK week) has been mobbed. I think it may have...

Spinoff-which restaurants are you desperate to return to?

La Hacienda & O'Hana for me! For breakfast, you can't beat Crystal Palace. I crave that breakfast lasagna all year long...:)

    Coral Reef Question

We ate at Coral Reef a couple of years ago. The food and service weren't remarkable (the service was actually terrible), but I do think it's worth trying at least once. I've even been tempted to go back, despite our bad experience. We waited for a table with a view of the tank. I didn't notice...

    An Epcot girl at Polynesian

That sounds awesome! Maybe I should bump our trip up a month! :)

    An Epcot girl at Polynesian

Oh no! You should have posted anyway -- at the rate we visit, there's bound to be a time when we stay during December! :rotfl2:

    An Epcot girl at Polynesian

I so appreciate all of your thoughts and opinions. Thanks for taking the time to respond! I might look back into a split stay, as some of you suggested. Either way, it seems like you can't go wrong with the Poly.

    An Epcot girl at Polynesian

We did contemplate a split stay, but it seems like a lot of work for a 7 day vacation. We have two small children, so it would involve a lot of packing and unpacking. I know a lot of people don't mind it, but I just don't think it's worth it for us. If we were staying for 10 days -- totally...

    An Epcot girl at Polynesian

Hi all! We just booked our next Disney trip for our new favorite month to travel -- January. We love getting away from the cold northeastern weather during the winter months! We've traditionally been Epcot resort people -- we love being able to walk right into the World Showcase and over to...

    Your 1 must do?

The one thing our family consistently does on EVERY trip is eat at Biergarten. We love it there and our son loves dancing to the music :)

CBR - How far is it, really?

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, so I apologize ahead of time! My family attempted to book a stay at CBR in one of the Preferred Rooms, but were told the only available option during the timeframe was a Pirate room. Also, after asking about our back up and back up-back up...

Via Napoli, Le Cellier, or Biergarten

I'd suggest Biergarten. I have a 5 year old who LOVES the music and dancing, and we all really enjoy the food and atmosphere, overall. Via Napoli didn't win us over -- we've been there twice and were left wondering what the hype was all about. Le Cellier is good, but is expensive, dark...

Our May 2016 Trip - Where to stay?

Hi all! I am trying to decide which resort to book for our May 2016 trip, but having a hard time deciding based on all of the upgrades, construction, bus schedules, etc. I think we can consider ourselves veterans of Disney at this point and have stayed in all hotel categories thus far --...

which room to sit in for lunch BOG

I like the West Wing best (though crowded, as others have mentioned), but the Rose/Music Box room is a good alternative if looking for a quieter place to dine.

Epcot QS & TS meal - Where would YOU choose???

Table Service: Biergarten Quick Service: Not a HUGE fan of any of them, but I'd probably pick Yorkshire Co Fish Shoppe or La Cantina de San Angel, depending on my mood :)

Package I booked now cheaper - what to do?

If you call Disney, they can usually adjust the price of your reservation, based on the current details. They'll also work to save your dining, though I'm not 100% that it's possible -- it's best to call them and ask.

Where should we eat!? One TS Epcot

San Angel Inn or Biergarten, depending on the atmosphere you're looking for. I've actually read some great things about Marrakesh, but I haven't yet eaten there.

Sci Fi seating 2 adults one kid?

When our family went last summer, DH and DS (4) sat in the middle row, while I sat in the front. There was plenty of room to turn around and sit sideways while waiting for my meal, and it was actually quite nice to have the room to move around/spread out. As others have mentioned, my son...

    Sci-Fi or Mama Melrose

We really enjoyed Sci Fi last year; however, Mama Melrose is one of my favorites, so I'd always choose it.
