Hello fellow cruisers! My name is Lorie and we are totally excited to be joining you in October. This will be my 4th DCL (3 Fantasy + 1 Dream) and the 3rd for my DH and DD. Unfortunately our prebook just expired but I was able to convince my DH to book anyway. We will be sending PM on fish extender.

Depends on their interest. Science/culture = Epcot. Movies/animation = Hollywood Studios. Animals = Animal Kingdom. My preference is always Magic Kingdom for the variety for fun of all ages.

We've done the same by throwing away DH undershirts for years. They take up a good portion of the bag and it leaves room for souvenirs on return.

I love the cruise for the absolute break from work - no connectivity is a good thing. I agree with all the other world sites to see, but with a 4 year old, DCL just makes it to easy.

Having a husband who can't function without eating makes early dining a must! :-)

We parked at the port last year which was extremely convenient and safe, BUT was ridiculously expensive for a 7 day cruise. Not again...

My daughter got scared at Aladdin last year and we left in the first 2 mins. I sat with her to watch the movie so maybe this year she won't be scared.

I felt very comfortable that the staff at the Oceaneer Club were always at the door. I didn't feel like a kid could jump the gate or any non-parents could come in. Disney definitely has this down and made me feel very comfortable.

Last year, we purchased the CD for a select number of pictures, but realized it had all pictures on it and you could only unlock the amount you purchased. While this seems like a great idea, the issue was that the photos could only show as thumbnails, so it was hard to tell which one had just...

So happy to read this post! We were on level 5 verandah last year and had cigarette ash sprinkled down on us from above. I can't imagine a smoker or non-smoker who would be happy about that.

I'm curious, if those who are cruising without having been to parks, is it because they have been on previous cruises and just want to try Disney?

For the first time we are renting at the port. Our plans are a little crazy because we're trying to fit in seeing family while in FL. Since we fly out of Orlando, I need to rent a car going one-way. Avis appears to be the only car rental co in PC who will accommodate this. Last year we rented at...

The discount we got was about 7-10%. Was a great adventure for our first cruise experience where we didn't have a cabin preference. We booked VGT (guaranteed veranda) and got a much larger cabin/veranda that standard. Was a great experience.
