I personally love Typhoon Lagoon, but a nice relaxing afternoon at the GF pool sounds great to me. Plus you'll be nice and rested for hitting the parks in the AM!

It really depends on your height as well, so it's hard to say whether you will fit or not. Just try the test seat and hope for the best.

We did the dolphin discovery years ago in Cozumel, and I wouldn't do it again. We had fun, but immediately afterward I felt bad for the dolphins and their quality of life.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience-I love posts like these. So just to confirm, it looks like your total for the day would have been around $6400 or so, not including tip, correct? And you got on 16 rides, so that's roughly $78 per person per ride. I know lots of extras are included...

I also feel it looks like this-I used to live in Chicago and there were a few outdoor areas like this. Not what I pictured for the middle of a theme park.

My son (age 11) loved Edge on the Fantasy, hated it on the Wonder. It was mainly given the size difference-it's a lot larger on the Fantasy and I think he felt more comfortable spreading out, and the counselors seemed to be much more involved in getting kids together.

I definitely forgot that they stopped providing powerade during the 10k. I always bring an electrolyte drink on any runs longer than 5 miles, and water just wasn't cutting it this morning. Hopefully I'll remember for next year.

Ugh that's frustrating. It was always nice for spectators and family to know where I was on the course.

Discovery Cove does this too and it drives me batty. I'll look at the website one day, and then the next day the prices have increased by $100.

We were there last night as well. The lines were insane given the house closures throughout the night. . No scare actors in the scare zones and it seemed very crowded for a Wednesday. We rode MIB (10 minute wait), got some pizza fries and headed on out of there.

I'm not sure what a 'hybrid' ticket is, but if it's just the standard comp tickets that Disney gives to cast members, you can use them (provided they are not expired).
