We just got home from EPCOTwe live down here fulltime after moving down here in June. We specifically went today to see the World Showcase Players. Since we got down here its been Carl and Nigel plus one. Todays 4pm show was very well attended (It was King Arthur and the Holy Grail) and was...
Interesting about Alamo, my rate came way down today. June 18-24 (weekly rate) standard car $116 all in using Insider rate and Visa $30 off AD2338FDF code to/from MCO. Last week it was in the $178 range.
I live here in NY and rent a car when we need one. That's a pretty good rate for Memorial Day weekend and like another poster suggested, if you wait too long you might not get anything. Though you still have plenty of time right now.
BTW, in NY the airport usually has better prices and...
We always have fun saving our quarters for our trips. Yes, there are cash booths along the way either coin or a real person. Just stay to the right as the cash lanes branch off from the main highway and then merge back to the main lanes. Some local toll booths are coins only. :drive:
I know how you feel. My wife has imploring me to stop looking for our 1/4-16 rental. However Alamo did come down again today. $234 all in for a full size using the insiders code and the Visa $30 coupon (AD2338FDF).
I have Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Safari all installed on this computer. IE takes me to the new site, but both Chrome and Safari lead me back to the good ol' one. I was able to find the "make a payment" link in Safari and it took me to the payment options page.
However, I have...
I e-mailed guest relations about this a couple of weeks ago. They gave me a confirmed 1/8/2013 end date for Castle Dream Lights. I guess that's about a definitive answer as one can get.
:confused3
Me too. We're arriving on January 5th. I also checked with guest services and they confirmed the January 8th end date for the Castle Dream Lights (though the Mayans still might have a better accuracy record  )
The Castle Dream Lights are reportedly up through January 8 so there also will probably be other decorations up as well (we'll be at MK on the 5th too!).
:santa:
You can book without yet having the pass. You don't have to logon to the passholder site to book as you can call WDW reservations and request the passholder rate. We have checked in before activating our passes and the cast member checking us in was fine with just seeing our printed out "Will...
Star Tours is at the Disney Hollywood Studios.
You could do Star Tours at DHS and then head over to EPCOT via the boat. Also, the Osborne Family Festival of Dancing Lights will still be on display at DHS so you might want to catch that before heading over.
We'll be at the World starting...
Glad you found it ($611 per regular AP). A correction to my earlier post, the difference in price between 10-day park hoppers and two AP's is $424. Minus the room savings the difference between park hoppers and AP's is $307.
The break-even cost-wise just in admission is around 12 days so as...
So the AP rates are out. Now my wife and I will need to decide.
The discount on moderates is a very decent 35%, 5% better than the GP. Over our 12 nights that's an additional savings of about $117. The difference in price between two AP's and two 10-day parkhoppers is around $460, but...
Like you we have been waiting for AP rates. Our current passes have just expired, but we have booked a January room only using the current general public offer. The availability of an AP rate will determine whether we get new passes and take another trip to Disney next year or if we just have...
