We have booked 4 night / 5 day resort with parkhopper passes. Would you recommend adding insurance? I know we purchased insurance for the cruise but have never purchased for resorts...any comments?

Considering 1 week in Oahu - looking for recent visitors to Aulani. Would you recommend spending the whole week at the resort or spending a few days in Waikiki before heading to the resort? Traveling with 2 teenagers.

I switched our reservation from POR to Wilderness Lodge once I found out that Pop Warner was the same week. Glad to hear that the problems encountered were really only at the resort. We are very excited and hear that Wilderness Lodge during holiday time is beautiful.

Trying to decide which resort to stay at in December...we were originally at a moderate but due to the pop warner competition have decided to move to a deluxe. Which resort would past visitors recommend during holiday time?

So we booked our trip and find out cheerleading competition will still be taking place during 2 of our 4 days. Any tips on how to make the best of what I have heard is a very busy time. We are staying at POR - I believe the teams stay at the Pop resorts.

Realize that room location is not guaranteed - but which would recent visitors suggest? We have stayed in PORFQ before - this time POR Riverside.

Can any one recommend a City Walk restaurant that serves aligator? If not City Walk, a restaurant close to Universal or Downtown Disney.

I recommend bringing bathing suits - although I didn't swim on our July 12 cruise - my kids did almost every day! My recommendations would be jeans; short sleeve shirts; polar fleece pullover and a good rain jacket that can also be worn to block the wind. Layers are key.

I too was on the July 12 cruise and I have to say layers are key. Most days I wore jeans, short sleeve shirt and a light polar fleece. The only day I have to say I was cold and glad to have knit gloves was the Tracey Arms Fjord day - it was misty and cold. I would also suggest a good rain...
