Is Disney Dining Reservations working for anyone today?

I've been trying and trying to see what is open for tonight and I just can't get the system to function! I have tried the app and the website both. Is it just me?

    Non-Professional Tax Opinions...

A great accountant will save you tons! My accountant saved me 25k in taxes this year by restructuring my business. All very legal, ethical decisions. I'm still paying a lot in taxes, but the savings is appreciated! Get an accountant! I promise it is worth it!

So tired of the "one" forcing changes..

It does say her children's bus. Ugh. I don't know. If there isn't more to the story, this is just sad! I don't like my kids to eat sweets that often but she sounds like a nice mom baking for the kids. You can't have homemade things in many schools anymore. It just isn't allowed. I hate...

    Serious addiction problem

We get takeout Mediterranean food once a week. Piles of tabbouleh and hummus. Can't skip it. Mercy! So good!

Does Santa ignore the list in your house?

Well, I work in the tech side of the craft industry- mommy has a room devoted to crafty crap! As long as they at least attempt to clean up their stuff I am ok with it! I want built-ins to organize... Hmm, Santa?

    Serious addiction problem

We all love it. One daughter licks the avocado ?peels? ?shells? (What do you call them?) to get every drop of avocado goodness!

Does Santa ignore the list in your house?

Just to add a little levity to this thread. Every mom of a 7-12 year old (boy OR girl) probably has $50 of those !?/@&! rubber bands on their list right?? I find them EVERYwhere and yet they always always need more! Stockings will be hung- filled to the brim with neon, glow in the dark, glitter...

Does Santa ignore the list in your house?

Ha. For the record, although my kids prefer experiences and food (total foodies!) they both have plenty of toys. iPad minis and headphones and games and dolls and Legos. We aim for well-chosen and intentional toys. But yeah, some toys. I prefer ones that last more than a season or so in popularity.

Does Santa ignore the list in your house?

My kids don't make lists. Maybe they are weird? They always want experiences and not gifts. My oldest daughter (11) would much prefer I buy a complex puzzle and take a day to build it with her rather than buy plasticrap for her. We are taking a vacation to NYC and gave them $ to buy...

    Finally credit card debt free!!

Great job! We had 25k in July and we are down to under 5K now! It would be gone but we took a few vacations. I am a little mad I couldn't kill it off in 2013 but I think we will get there by the end of January.

    Just off the Dream 3-day

I have no idea! We were also on that sailing and didn't notice we were not moving! My kids were eyeballing the Epic! I think we may need to spring for a cruise with the more sportsy interactive features next time! They loved AquaDuck but want a wave simulator.

    Chores and Money Choices

OP- don't let them get you down! And it will pay off! My 9-year-old just saved up for and bought an iPad Mini. She saved allowance, birthday presents, and other gifts and did extra work for hire for us and for friends (organizing kitchen pantries is her specialty- $4 for medium sized and $5...

    Chores and Money Choices

I think it is fabulous! My kids learned to save quite early on! We lived overseas and they understood you don't need plasticrap to be happy. They both ask for experiences and not presents for gifts now for holidays. They are 9 & 11 and I hope they can retain that perspective! You are...

    December 12, 2013 - 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

We had such a great time! We planned to meet up with a few people from here and it didn't happen! I blame the endless naps! The ship starts to move and I swear all 4 of us would immediately fall asleep. I always sleep with perfection on cruises! A perfect 3 nights. Soooooo sad to be back...

Do you have a stylish Tall man?

Although Banana Republic varies as much as 5 inches in the length of large tall polo shirts from one style to another! Crazy how poorly and inconsistently Gap/OldNavy/Banana size things!

Really my only complaint with FP+ and it may not be what you think

I love to give FP away! As a local, I usually only stay a few hours. I often have "eyes bigger than my stomach" with FP and grab some we end up not needing. My kids love giving them away! I am hopeful FP+ will end up ok as time goes on!
