I see lots of pics of DD in a carrier, which is what I did the majority of our last trip as well. I want to wear her again in Feb, but she'll be 19 months & IDK if I can handle it. I will prob try a back pack style carrier.

Well we are in the same boat. We have 2 DDs-one 6 & one born 7/7/15-so I think our kids are pretty close in age. And we went 1/22/16-1/31/16. Some days were freezing & others were really pleasant. Hopefully temps will be more mild this trip. But no late nights for us. We're rope drop people.

I would love to get your take on the Mardi Gras crowd levels. We usually go in Sept/Oct & 2017 will be our first MG trip.
