Nailed it. I also have cooked for masses and it is the same way. I would add that I also believe that some people come in with unreachable expectations. Or they read too much one way or the other and there is no way to reach those levels.

Drink station coffee is not a grind and brew process as the restaurant and room service coffee. Since the process is different hence the different taste. The drink stations if I remember correctly are in a premix situation where they are combined with hot water on dispensing.

20 days out and I had to go to the 3rd page to find this thread. So as I am new to cruising my PAT is 11 or 11:30 something early like that. I assume earliest we would be allowed on the ship is 1 with no shot at our room until 3 or 4? Sound about right? Not that I will need the room I will have...

It may just be me but looks like this could be a pretty light ship for our cruise. Seems too not be as popular, ie lots of rooms still available.

I bet that made for an interesting trip, 4+ days with nothing but ocean.

61maris61 you say that on 2 previous trips to GC due to the tendering you weren't able to get off the ship. Curious what time of year those were? I know there is never any guarantee and if I can't get off the ship no big deal but just curious.

Thanks Frank that is good to know. It probably won't take us the full 5 I just like to give myself time. We drive to Galveston and Houston twice a year so this will be no biggie.
