I think you can still buy PP+ but you won't get the discounted price.

It depends. I've had both experiences... Had to show only one key for me, my now ex, and my daughter (5). Also had to show that each of the adults had a key. And then, as the EMH went on in the evening, eventually they didn't even ask. I wore a lanyard that had a clear pouch to hold my key...

I was planning on the fall free dining rumor coming true. No way I'd she'll put money for the plan (too cheap and we'd be perfectly happy eating CS meals OOP with one or two TS meals). But thanks for the info! Now I know how to plan better to maximize the free food!
