39 days for us. First trip to Aulani. :)

I'm from the West Coast too, so I wanted either VGC or Aulani subsidized. I made an offer on Aulani 250, and while waiting for that, a VGC 160 came up, so I offered on that as well. Both offers got accepted, so now we own a total of 410 points. I guess I just did my upgrading early. :)...

How long from ROFR waived to closing?

Fidelity timeline is scaring me. We just passed ROFR, and we need our points so I can book my Dec trip. I also have lots of points expiring. :scared:

We did it in Dec. 2011, and I know I still paid for it by not getting a discounted room, but we had enough adults in our party that it worked out OK. It was good for me to know how it works as well. We have another trip this Dec on points, so I will have to see if it will be DDP or TIW for us...

We passed - Day 26 & 27 for our two contracts. I think I'm more excited that the wait is over. Well actually now we have to wait to get points loaded.

Yeah, I wouldn't go in with family either. They can rent points from us or come with us on our vacation.

We have a Disney cruise booked for December. Since both my contracts are loaded, I'm playing with the idea of going to WDW instead, and pushing off the cruise for another time, when I have less points expiring. I could also rent the points out and that would pay for some of the cruise. I...
