Hi Dis-ers! We're booked on the Wonder in December out of Galveston. We had originally planned to drive down from the Dallas area the morning of our sailing, but now we're thinking it might be a better idea to come down the day before. So, now the question is - where to stay in Galveston...

So... it's looking to me like the most commonly upgraded are Cat7 rooms to Cat5. The majority of others look like they stay within the same category. We booked GTY 9C, so I guess I'm not super-hopeful. :/ But we'll see. We sail in December.

I was looking for help too. The name fills are SO cute! I was going to try it myself but couldn't find the right combination of letters in the photobucket. I was hoping to get a family sign that said "The Canslers" for our first-ever cruise on the Wonder, December 27-31. So so SO cool!

Anyone been before and/or have any suggestions of what excursion to do in Cozumel with kids (8 & 5)? Not interested in the dolphins. Can't decide - ruins maybe? Nervous to do anything not DCL sanctioned. Never been there before.

I loved reading all of this. I just booked my family on the Wonder out of Galveston just after Christmas - it'll be a Christmas surprise for the kids if I can keep it quiet that long! I love that there are things you prefer about this ship to the newer ships. I was a bit nervous about this...

Thanks! Yeah, count me in on the FE group. I'm already obsessed with the idea. Already coming up with ideas of how to get the kids in on helping with the crafts without telling them exactly what they're doing! (Heehee) Is there a general idea of how many gifts we'll need? Newbie, here...
