I was wondering something similar, but about the day before New Year's Eve. We wanted to do the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom on Dec. 30 and Epcot on Dec. 31. If the same show is going to be shown at both times on the 30, we'd rather do the earlier one so that we can get some sleep and get to...
My DH and I were just in Disneyland Paris for two days (plenty of time), and I wrote up a blog post on some of our first impressions, which I thought might be helpful for those planning to visit. There will be more installments to come...
Thank you so much for your insights. They were so helpful. We are going as part of our honeymoon next month and, like a previous poster said, will just have to try to make the best of it despite the closures :) Either way it will be a great experience to see a new park!
So excited to see some other December 2017-ers here! We've never been during Christmas before so I can't wait for all the holiday decorations and cheer (though not as excited about the crowds). Usually it's just me and my fiance but this year we're trying to make it a family trip.
Hi everyone! :wave2: I posted a review of Artist's Point on my blog and thought you might be interested to read it (and see some yummy-looking photos).

Here's a preview pic for now ;)
Thanks! I'm so excited to plan for two weeks instead of one; I'm hoping for some actual relaxation time this visit! :rotfl: Last time we went, we stayed at POP and liked it a lot. I'm hoping that the buses at AoA run just as smoothly as they did at POP. And I can't wait to try AoA at least once...
Hi all :) My DBF and I booked an AoA LM room for 8/3/14 to 8/15/14. This will be our longest trip yet, so we're very excited. Especially because AoA looks so cute and well-themed! :yay:
Those all sound like great options! Have you eaten at Artist Point? We want to do at least one signature on our next trip, but we're torn between Artist Point and Yachtsman Steakhouse. We've heard good things about both, but haven't eaten at either!
That sounds like a pretty good plan! And you get to experience those other cities/towns along the way. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Thanks for sharing :)
Hi all! :yay: Just read through a lot of this thread and found some very helpful information. My boyfriend and I booked a LM room for Aug. 2014, but in reading reviews here and one some other sites, I'm worried about the mousekeeping. I've read that some of the rooms are dirty at check-in (even...
That's awesome! I'm glad you're getting to go. We didn't think we'd be going back so soon (we just went last year and stayed in POP), but we just missed it so much and had such a good time that we decided to be incredibly frugal this year so we can go next year haha. How long is the drive for...
Thanks! When we stayed at POP we walked around AoA to look at the theming and it looked awesome, especially the Nemo pool. I'm such a kid at heart haha :yay:
My boyfriend and I were JUST talking about doing this the other day -- we're going to do some research on trusted amazon sellers and buy a starter set from there that we can trade in the parks. Usually the only ones I actually pay for on the Disney site are the ones that I like too much to trade...
I priced mine from Aug. 3 to Aug. 15 2014 in a LM room at AoA, and it actually seemed feasible!!! Now I'm itching to book but am waiting for a new credit card to arrive... :rotfl: I hope everyone else had good luck!!
