Yes, they have a Downtown Disney bus that stops at BS-4 (El Centro), BS-1 (Casita) BS-2 (Ranchos) and BS-3 (Cabanas) in that order before going to DTD. The Theme Park buses go BS-1, BS-2, BS-3 and BS-4 before going to the park. You can hop on and off those buses.

We have stayed at Pop three times and we stayed at CSR for the first time this last December 01-07. We stayed in the Cabanas section, Bldg. 9A and it was pretty close to El Centro. It was about $600 more to stay at CSR than a value. I know this because we upgraded our reservation from AS Music...

In order to even stay standard at a deluxe, your going to spend a lot of money on what is more or less a "Hilton" quality room. Of course I came to that conclusion from viewing pictures and reviews, since I don't stay deluxe. I can't justify deluxe but if you can afford that, why in the world...

I agree. Preferred just doesn't make that much of a difference in my view, as long as you stay in 50's, 60's or 70's sections. We have stayed in 50's twice and 70's once. Two of those were preferred and not really worth paying extra for.

We make laminated tags, similar to little luggage tags, with our names, cell, resort we are staying at and safety pin it to the bottom of our sons shirt.

I have stayed at Pop 3 times and once at CBR. I would pick Pop over CBR. That said, I wonder if you can actually downgrade with free dining, since moving to Pop will probably be cheaper? Are you even able to do it without canceling your reservation and doing a complete rebooking?
