Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

Update: Finally heard back from UT. This time from their Director of Operations. He was very apologetic and explained that they had "dropped the ball" on my order. I am thankful for the apology and am pleased that the tickets are now being sent overnight. The Director was very unhappy with...

Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

I hope so, too. So far, still no response to my request for immediate shipment or a refund of my credit card. Frustrating.

Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

I understand that many of you had good experiences with UT. In fact, I researched them on these boards and it was one of the reasons I decided to purchase through them. I believed them to be a reputable and reliable company. My experience, however, has not been a good one, and I believe it is...

Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

Our trip is less than 30 days out. I was shocked when I received their response that the tickets had not been shipped, nor were they even scheduled to be shipped. When purchasing, I indicated that we needed to tickets within their normal 10 business-days shipping window. Now they are...

Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

Just inquired with Undercover Tourist as to the status of my ticket order, as it has been weeks since my purchase. Turns out that they still have not shipped my tickets, nor do they have any intention to do so. This is despite the fact that they immediately charged my credit card for the...

Tips for getting a BOG ressie

Our 180 day mark was this morning. I logged on at 6:00 a.m. (I believe that's the earliest you can start - not midnight) and I was able to get a reservation for May 4 (180 days + 3) for a party of 4 for 5:40 p.m. Good luck!

(CLOSED) Disney's WILDERNESS LODGE and VILLAS INFORMATION THREAD ~2013~

So, we finally cancelled our May 2014 Polynesian reservation and switched to the Wilderness Lodge. Reports of an 8 month long pool renovation were enough to make us switch. Happy to be joining this thread! Does anyone know if you can still roast marshmallows at the WL, and if so, where and what...

Has anyone stayed at Poly during pool construction in the past?

Wondering if anyone has stayed at the Polynesian during pool construction in years past? Any insight into how the shuttle to an alternative pool operates? How often it runs? Did you receive any formal advance notice of pool construction from Disney? If so, how far in advance of your trip? Any...

Is it a crazy idea to visit a park before catching the DCL bus?

I had the same question a while back. We decided to do a character breakfast that morning instead. Thought maybe the morning would seem a little less rushed. Both our hotel and the character breakfast are at monorail hotels.

ALOHA! The Polynesian Resort Information Thread: June 2013

Totally agree. The only thing I would add is that the Poly rate is steep, and I hesitate to pay full price for a resort undergoing construction in significant areas of the resort (ie GCH and pool). But I've never heard of WDW offering a reduced rate based on construction, unlike non-WDW vacation...
