If your flight is domestic and you only need to be at the airport by 1030 totally doable. If it's a US flight you have to be there by 930 and clear American Customs. That could be close. On our Alaskan cruise last year we were late getting into Vancouver. The walk offs weren't cleared to...
We've used Super Shuttle and never had any issues. In fact we are booked for our next trip Jan 1st. 2 adults and1child is 96$ LAX - HoJo return. We do the shared van (9 passengers max) and have only shared it one other family. You can book a van exclusive to just your family for a bit more.
Thank you for taking the time to put together a very informative post. Although I've been to Disneyland a few times previously, you mentioned things I've never thought of. I know I am going to be trying a few.
Nothing like procrastinating until almost the last minute :rotfl:. We leave for Edmonton on Wed to spend the night before leaving for The Happiest Place on Earth on Thursday :cool1:. I made all my dining reservations this afternoon and got every single restaurant and time that I wanted :banana...
Another suggestion to keep food costs down is to go to sites like Earl of Sandwich and Mimi's Cafe. If you sign up they send free offers and 2 for 1 coupons. Hint since you need to use a US zip code, use your hotel's.
You are so organized. I've never thought of using DISigns for our Disneyland or World trips. Used them on our cruises to make magnets to decorate our door. Have even put it on pillowcases and canvas so that the characters could sign them for our daughter. Maybe will have to make t-shirts for...
We are booking lunch at the Blue Bayou and Ariel's Grotto. Our daughter loves the whole Princess meet and greet experience. Plus Ariel is her favourite Princess.
We've stayed at the PPH, DLH and the HoJo. They all have their pluses and minuses. We have the kids suite booked at the HoJo. It consists of two attached rooms with a king size bed for the hubby and I in one room and bunk beds and a pull out couch in the other. Plenty of room and only 159$ a...
We are headed there Jan 1-7. There will be the three of us: DH, DD (9yrs) and myself. It's a Christmas present for our daughter. I've made a puzzle as one of her gifts saying "We're celebrating New Year's at the Happiest Place on Earth." Can't wait until she opens it up. Staying at the HoJo.
In the end it is totally a personnel decision. It all boils down to how able and willing you are to pay for the 24/7 Disney experience. If I can get a good sale on a DLR hotel then I book there. If I can't then I book offsite, which is normally the Hojo. There is no right or wrong answer as...
We have stayed both on and off site and enjoyed both experiences. When we stayed on site we made full use2am of EMH. Off site we go to the park that didn't have EMH that morning.
