Thanks very much for the description. It sounds like we could stay in the roped off area following the show until some of the crowd has dispersed without getting swept up. My DH is visually impaired and we need to stay connected in crowds. It’s very helpful to get first hand experiences.
@mickeyluv’r - was the viewing area for HEA actually seating or was it an area where you stand to view HEA? Could you describe the area size, was it crowded?
Thanks
Thanks. I’ll check out the Wallaby app.
Thanks. The picture is very helpful.
I put info in the Notes on my IPhone then forget to refer back to the Notes. I guess I need something right in front of my face.
Thanks for the tips. I’m going to try a combination of a spreadsheet and labeling my cards until I see what works best for me.
Ha, ha. I don’t have any metal cards. Very posh!
What do you use to label the cards? Seems like a label or piece of tape would cover up something important on the card (card number, chip, security code). I’m guessing I’m making this harder than it needs to be.
Yay! My quote worked.
Sorry. I don’t know how to respond including quotes from previous posters. Learning as I go.
To Action City - keeping only one card keeps life simpler, that’s for sure.
To Disney magic girl - thanks for the invite. I do follow the “I love credit cards” thread sporadically. I’m not so much...
I have credit cards with differing bonuses. Some are cash back for permanent categories and others are cash back for rotating categories. I also occasionally have a new card for which I need to meet a minimum spend requirement.
How do you keep track of which card to use for which purpose; for...
I’m not sure what more you could have done to not be bothered by a security visit. I’m thinking the housekeeper notified security that she wouldn’t be entering your room for cleaning, so security showed up to look around in the room. I agree this is very intrusive and unpleasant.
I’ll be at...
I have two:
(1) The Flag Lowering Ceremony at Disneyland. Veterans participate and patriotic music is played. It gets me every time.
(2) I was taking the boat from the Grand Floridian after dinner back to the Magic Kingdom. The fireworks started and the boat stopped in the middle of the lake...
I booked a pass holder rate stay online after purchasing an annual pass online on 12/14/17. I was able to see the pass holder rates immediately after buying the annual pass. Unless there was a change to the system after 12/14/17, you should be able to view the pass holder rates online with a...
I bought an annual pass online a few weeks ago and was able to access the annual pass holder rates immediately. I booked a split stay in April for AKL/GF. Be sure you are logged in when you look for your accommodations. I have purchased several APs over the years and have always been able to...
I love Coronado Springs and have stayed there many times. We did have a bad convention experience once when a tire company convention took over most of the grounds around the lake in the center of the resort. Chairs, podiums for musicians, tables of food, electrical cables running everywhere. It...
I have individual pieces in both the stainless steel and the D5. Love them both and honestly don't see any difference in how they cook. I have been gradually replacing all of my old pots and pans with All-Clad and I don't think I will ever need to replace the All-Clad.
If you can afford...
Great report so far and love the pictures! We are going to DL soon and will be eating at many of the same places so I am looking forward to the rest of your report. :thumbsup2
I agree with others who posted here. Paradise Pier has the largest rooms, DLH second and GCH the smallest of the three.
Having said that we are staying at GCH again in September. I thought the walk from Paradise Pier was too far - or it could be that I'm getting old!
Hi Brenda
Santa Barbara to Disneyland - there's no reason I can see for you to be anywhere near the section of the 405 that will be closed for a week-end in July. I would take the 118 to the 5 all the way to Disneyland. I live in the San Fernando Valley and that's how we usually go unless...
Bite the bullet and definitely go for the Kitchen Aid mixer. My DH bought me one in 1971 the first year we were married and he says it's the best investment he ever made! Mine is almost 40 years old and still going strong. Love it!
I love E-Mealz too and tell my friends at work about it. The best part for me is when I come home from work I know just what to make and the meals usually take no more than 30-40 minutes to make. Some require a little prep like starting the crock pot in the morning or soaking a french toast...
Thank you all so much for the helpful replies. Especially to you amamax2. If we that good of a view from the room we are in we will be happy campers!
