We booked a free dining bounce back during our last August trip. We are going Dec 20-27. I just checked the current offer and to book the exact same package under the current offer would be an increase of $1072. They've really just gone batty with their pricing. Ridiculous.

LOL We are parents of three "Disney Adults" and I am just the opposite. I always say that when it's just the hubby and me we will go by ourselves and do the deluxe. As for now, we do the gift card thing. Those three Disney Adults are what keep any of the dining plans from being a value for us.

This will be our 4th August trip! We're from Houston though, and very used to the heat and humidity. Pick a resort with a good pool and plan on mid-day breaks.

Agreed! I have 12-year old twins who mostly subsist on chicken in various forms. There's no way we can get the value out of it for them. It worked great when they were under 9, but not now.

Our preferred resort is beach club,so we always get the hopper...the World Showcase is just right there! Also if you always end up doing laundry on vacation like I do, there's a laundry room close to the IG. The dry-cycle is just long enough for a stroll around the WS for a snack and a drink.

We love both! Use your dining plan at Cape May. At Via Napoli, our family of five will usually go for lunch and share the really big pizza (Mezzo Metro?) and usually get an appetizer and pay OOP. VN is not a good use of a dining plan for us.
